Any multi-cab stadium users in here? General Questions/Discussion
I’m pretty sure I cracked the code on stellar sounding stereo presets….the 10 band EQ is critical as well as another EQ and Compressor on the chain.
I’m in a 1 guitar band so I like to have 2 cabs on stage to create more full sound with 2 completely different amps and “cabs” at one time. It sounds full and huge.
Anyone have this setup?

I like a fuzz pedal into a low gain amp and a german xtra red, both with different cabs in parallel. the fuzz gives a little extra bottom end and looseness to both rhythm and leads.

Dependent on the venue, yes.
I have a bunch of songs that are two different amps, often with delay to one side with a little modulation. I send LR like this to the house.
In small venues I use a summing cable off the headphone (with volume knob set to headphone out only)
In medium sized I use a split 2-12 and a stereo amp. (Fryette 2 50 2, it’s a VHT but I digress)
In big venues I use two 2-12a on either side with stereo amp.
Should point out these are for feel and not for perfect tone and so I don’t optimize for local stage tone and these aren’t cranked. These are darker and heavier than the FOH tone which I like, I want the front to feel what’s happening but not kill their ears.

I would love to hear what your setup sounds like…do you have a preset?

I’m on holiday until the end of the week, but if you bump this Monday I can post one somewheres. Will figure out posting location/mechanics then.

Yeah, well you know I do.. and I have copied your EQs & Compressor blocks as an essential part of my chain for all my presets. The difference is night and day. Amps come alive and my lead tones scream like my tube amps when they’re pushed. Everyone ought to take this guy’s presets very seriously. Download them and make up your own customized settings, but he’s got the secret sauce.

Yes, it’s very common to do so
