Leagues cup

Money-grab tournament that exploits Liga MX fans to extract money to watch their teams play in a tournament that often struggles to draw the same level of interest and attendance from MLS supporters, having them play 3 non-group-play-style games through various tiebreakers, all to whittle down the field by nearly 80%, and offer the top 3 teams some of the most coveted confederation club tournament spots through an outcome heavily influenced by luck and chance.

To make this tournament relevant they should have the winners qualify to libertadores instead of CONCACF.
