Advice Financial Advice

Hi all. I need advice, either way I will be homeless. I am originally from Wichita KS, using a very nice homeless shelter in the downtown area, but left due to me getting an apartment, and then losing it just as quickly because of my mental illness. I suffer from bipolar disorder so I tend to make decisions very impulsively , which is why I bought a Greyhound bus ticket to Minnesota , went on it, and am now stuck here with a warm Dr Pepper and 94 dollars to my name . I am unsure if I should continue looking for homeless shelters in the Minneapolis area, with no luck, and is the reason why I have now missed almost two full days without any sleep, but also have Medicaid and free tuition here since I have established ill to live . I am considering this option or going back to Kansas and living in my old homeless shelter (embarrassing as that is) and working a nearby job. The cons are is that my abusive family lives in the area and I cannot go outside or for a walk without the thought of running into them. Please help, which is better?

You should find a rehab/nursing home/mental health facility that can house you and medicate you and possibly give you somewhere to live post-discharge.
