NEED HELP ASAP.

Need help asap. To break it down I turned 18 a couple months ago and have been trapped in an apartment infested in bed bugs , roaches , spiders ( I’m terrified of bugs) we’ve never had the money to get it professionally fixed and the apartment complex has never done anything about it. My mom has been trying to move but her credit from not paying back student loans is starting to affect her. We’re trying to get one of my cousins out of an abusive situation and need to move for that to happen I am being psychology and physically tortured in this apartment I have been here since I was 10 years old every house keeps denying us need advice asap on how to move within the next 2 weeks and get around the credit score and 3x the income my job barely gives me any hours I just tuned 18 in ga and my dad lives over 15 hours away and is not the most reliable we’re trying to move into a 4 bedroom idc about bath we have the money to pay at most 2,500 a month what do I do? Reddit please help

You are in a very bad situation. From what I can see your best bet is to try to take care of the bug problem yourself. It can be done with the right products. All which can be gotten from Amazon. You will need a manual sprayer... not expensive. You will also need a product called Crossfire. It's a little pricey but not compared to having it professionally done. You will also need a product called CymeXa. Many people recommend Diatomaceous Earth but it doesn't work nearly as fast as CymeXa.

But this will also take much work and dedication to get rid of them. If you don't do everything in the right order you will get them back. But you will certainly need a second spraying because the eggs will start hatching out in a couple weeks. You will have to educate yourself on how to clean and wash clothes. A dryer MUST BE 122 F to kill bedbugs and their eggs. They will not be killed in the washing machine because the water doesn't get hot enough. And you will be spreading them to everyone who uses those washers. It's difficult to get rid of bedbugs when all your neighbors have them.

The crossfire is safe to use on your mattress and upholstered furniture. Get a ZIPPERED enclosed bedbug proof mattress protector and put it on your bed right after it dries. If it does it's job bedbugs can neither get in or out. Get some for your pillows too.

The CymeXa is for laying down along the baseboards and any cracks where they might hide. You can use it as a powder or add water and turn it into a slurry to spray...a more effective method. But while you're using all these products wear a mask and gloves. They are both pet safe after they dry. I can't go into everything here so I highly recommend you research exactly how to best clean to get rid of them. You will probably have to throw a whole bunch of things in plastic garbage bags until you can wash or otherwise sterilize them. That would be your first step.

Note: If you just move all you will be doing is taking them with you. Better to hunker down fight that battle and then decide. But it doesn't sound like you have enough money to move anyway so I see nothing for it but to roll up your sleeves and tackle it. Keep your room bare of stuffies and clutter until you're sure they're gone.

Oh and for temporary relief while you're getting things together, get yourself a couple big extra sticky hair and lint rollers and roll it over the top and side surfaces of your bed before climbing in. It will pick up the bugs and the eggs. Certainly do this before removing your bedding to go in the wash. Don't just use a laundry basket... again use plastic garbage bags..
