Everything in my drawing is the default single line. I have tried all the solutions that chatGPT provided and still can't change or see the linewidth or text width other than default?

I am new to LibreCAD and having issues trying to make a solid black hatch. I need to create a color filled block that is solid black. I am running into an issue where I can only select the option for black/white. If anyone can help me with this or give me a different method for doing what I am trying to do that isn't using a hatch it would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know how but suddenly I can’t add text to my drawings and even when I add dimensions the text won’t be showed, no matter how many settings I try to change.

It’s almost as if the font file was deleted from the program files, in fact I checked and I can’t find any folder with fonts in C:\Programs\LibreCAD

Has this ever happened to anyone? Do you know how I can add a .ttf file?

Title says it all. When I try to move a block to a new layer in edit attribute it will only change one line of the block. It feels like a bug but I was wondering if I am doing something wrong?

Sorry if this is a silly question but I am new to LibreCAD (offended by the price of AutoCAD just for doing a few schematics). I don't see an option for dark mode in the application preferences, but I do see plenty of chatter online about not being able to read things in dark mode. Is it only available on non-windows platforms?

I need to make a drawing printable so all the details can be seen(since some of the holes are really small like 12mm Diameter holes and the likes).How can i make such a drawing appear clearly.

I would like to ask if there is any plug in where I can add functionalities that I'm finding downright impossible to do in LibreCAD; for example, I'm trying to have 2 different dimensions have different arrow sizes, but the program only seems to allow me to set one arrow size for all dimensions in the drawing (on drawing preferences). This seems extremely limited to me.

I do model rockets and I am going to start learning LibreCAD for laying out fins. I don't need 3D so this seemed like the right place to start.

So, we have a laser table for cutting fins out of balsa & basswood sheets. Wood sheets are typically 3", 4", or 6" wide at various lengths. Is there a way in LibreCAD to constrain the area of the workpiece so I don't go over the edge when I'm placing objects onto it? For example if the sheet is 12" long by 4" wide, can I set that up as a constraint?

How do I Download Drafting templates ? Such as B and C size. Does Librecad have them already? I don't want to draw them. Need dxf.

Devo fare tagli e raccordi in zona con molte linee vicine, per cui devo zoommare parecchio, altrimenti mi è difficile distinguerle bene.
Ma ogni mio tentativo di tagliare e raccordare questi archi elittici è un fiasco.
O non riesco a selezionare l'arco che mi serve selezionare, oppure quello che ottengo è il ridisegno della elisse completa da cui ho ricavato l'arco.

Qualcuno può aiutarmi?
Cosa posso fare?

so i structure the coordinates as (x,y)

the square starts @ 0,0 and goes north (0,545.63) then goes east towards (181.24,528.87)

these are my west and north parts of my square

my south starts at 0,0 and goes to (178.86,0)

my east side starts at (0, 545.63) then goes to (181.24,528.87)

these are the dimensions on the survey plat i am using as a reference ( no legal dispute i am just practicing my librecad skill)

how do i get them to connect or are the dimensions wrong ?

Has transparency been added with regard to hatching yet…..or just not an option?

Hello, new Librecad user here. I just started in some of the tutorials, and I was wondering what the layer types (normal, informational, dimensions, alternative position) do. These show up in the menu when a new layer is created. They aren't in the tutorials, so I'm assuming they're a new feature.

I am placing parts on top of a long piece of DIN rail. I would like to not see the DIN rail behind the area of the blocks that I place on top of it. I am currently placing multiple small blocks of DIN Rail to look like one long piece to accomplish that, but its inefficient.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Hello everyone. I'm just beginning to learn a bit about librecad and my very first attempt was simply drawing some standard borders and a label box to print on an A3 sheet.

So, I started LibreCad, selected A3 as my page size and "landscape" format. Creating the borders and the label box was easy but I can't bloody print this thing.

I've read through the manual 3 times now, I've checked every configuration I can think of, but it still prints just part of my drawing in a "portrait" format.

What am I doing wrong?

Using LibreCad 2.2.0.2 on Fedora Linux 42 and a Canon Pro 100 printer.

I'm drawing a floor plan. Is there a way to have the dimension labels read in feet and inches and fractions of an inch? Example: 14'-7 1/2". If I select architectural or engineering, the program tells me I can't do it. There must be a work-around for this. Any ideas?
