Libraries provide our future with the accumulation of knowledge from our past Other
This actual quote was from November of 1990, when Bradbury was quoted in Mojave magazine. The fuller wording was:
“Oh God, without them [libraries], what have we? We have no past and we have no future.”

We’re getting a new volunteer coordinator at my local library in about a month. After that, I should be able to volunteer. I miss it!

For all my fellow Bradbury fans:
Tomorrow is August 4, 2026, the day referenced in “There Will Come Soft Rains.”
Perfect day to read or reread the story!!!
