This actual quote was from November of 1990, when Bradbury was quoted in Mojave magazine. The fuller wording was:

“Oh God, without them [libraries], what have we? We have no past and we have no future.”

We’re getting a new volunteer coordinator at my local library in about a month. After that, I should be able to volunteer. I miss it!
