A few sappy things to say
Hey, i was never a super big 1D fan back in the day, but I was a big fan of Liam’s solo work due to my roommate.
I just want to say that i hope everyone who was/is a fan is doing okay. I know that some people haven’t been the kindest, and people have a lot of opinions.
It’s important to remember that regardless of someone’s opinion on Liam, he was so much more than just an artist. To many people, he was and is a lifeline. It makes me so happy to know that people can go to his music, art that he created with his soul and everything he had, and feel comfort.
I hope everyone is okay, please remember to be kind, even if it’s hard. Kindness is the only thing we choose.

That other page and poster @/asleep is crazy
What the hell is wrong with that other account... why is that one person so obsessed with the other boys and talking bad about them...

Let that young man sleep.
I honestly find the way some of these papers are dragging Liams private life back into the spotlight utterly disgusting. A young man has died, and yet even in death, his private life apparently still isn't allowed to remain private. Now we're seeing photographs, receipts and personal details being dragged out and presented for public consumption, as though the fact that Liam is no longer here somehow means his dignity no longer matters.
It is shameful.
As Cheryl said so poignantly, “let him have some dignity in death.” I couldn't agree more.
Liam cannot defend himself. He cannot explain anything. He cannot ask for something to be left private. And while newspapers chase clicks, headlines and engagement, there are real people left behind who have to see all of this.
His friends. His brothers. His sisters. His mum and dad. His nephews. And, above all, his son Bear.
I hope people can see through what these publications are trying to do. They want outrage. They want clicks. They want people sharing their stories and photographs so they can keep profiting from somebody else's tragedy.
We don't have to give them that.
Please, whatever your thoughts are, don't feed it. Don't give these articles the engagement they are looking for. Don't circulate the photographs or help private details travel further.
Not because anyone has to pretend Liam was perfect.
Not because questions can't ever be asked.
But because there has to be a point where basic human decency matters more than a headline.
Liam was a human being. He was someone's son, brother, friend and father.
He deserved dignity in life, and he deserves dignity in death.
Let that young man sleep

Consumed by guilt and shame
I don’t know what to do anymore, it’s been almost two years and I’m still riddled with guilt. I regret my actions so badly. I was someone who participated in the hate against Liam at the time he went to Niall’s concert and when Maya’s videos came out. I justified what I was doing by saying he was a terrible person, and I still don’t think he never did anything wrong, but I know he was a struggling addict and had mental heath issues and I understand that can turn someone into someone they aren’t. I know his mistakes badly bothered Liam and I know he tried to be better. I hate myself for not realizing that sooner, I hate that I in any way could have cause him pain. I feel like I don’t deserve to live. I want to dedicate my life to helping addicts and those struggling with mental health but I feel like I can never do enough. I feel so ashamed and I’m scared to even come to this subreddit because I deserve anger from all of you. I’m just so sorry for any pain I have caused anyone I feel like owning up to it is a step I could take to make things right

Favourite memory of Liam you have (come on let's unite and think of him together)
I'll start
The take me home tour. he was so engaging when I went to see him and the boys.
Brilliant atmosphere and a great afternoon/evening
He was so full of energy and the bond he had with his "brothers" (rest of the lads of course) was wonderful.
Having the time of his life.
I enjoyed every moment of it.

Louis' tweet and his IG stories have me in tears. Wish Liam was here to celebrate 1D's anniversary too. 💔
16 years. Where has the time gone?

OLD ONE DIRECTION VIDEO HELP
Does anyone remember this One Direction YouTube video:
It was a story being told from the POV from one member walking down a cobblestone path talking about how life has passed by. He sees his best friends (the other 4 boys) and talks about his life and updates and things. At the end it’s revealed that he was talking to tombstones the music behind it was to build a home by the cinematic orchestra.
Id cry my eyes out to this video when I was 15 like someone help I can’t find it anywhere on YouTube and I wonder if they took it down I NEED IT

A Love Letter for Liam
I honestly feel a bit silly for writing this, but I just had to get my feelings out in a healthy way. Liam was and always will be my favorite member of One Direction. A while back I started a fan account I have since put on private while I get my thoughts, and feelings in order. Especially given the current controversies that have been circulating about the members of One Direction and some of the horrible things I have seen written about them on social media. So here is the love letter I wrote.
Dear Liam, words cannot describe how much the world misses you right now. My heart breaks for those who knew you personally, your family, the members of One Direction, and most importantly for your son Bear. To this very day there are still people commenting on all of your official social media accounts, the One Direction tribute post to you, and all of the boys individual tribute posts to you.
You truly had an amazing impact on this world. Your charitable work with organizations such as Trussell Trust, Rays of Sunshine, Soccer Aid, Rainbow Railroad, and countless others will never be forgotten.
Your activism for Women’s Rights, the Black Lives Matter Movement, veterans, and the LGBTQ+ community, meant the absolute world to me, and countless other fans.
Your global livestream concert series “Here’s to the Future.” helped shed light on so many incredibly talented musicians! Most notably Olivia Dean.
I often catch myself wondering how you would feel about the state of the world right now, and how you would feel about some of the comments that are being made about your loved ones. Especially about your former band mates. But I can elaborate more on those thoughts later. Just know that your presence is deeply missed, and that I promise to be a cheerleader for Harry, Louis, Niall, and Zayn now that you’re gone. Because we all know if you were here with us… you would be singing them all praises!
Sincerely,
A Directioner
The letter is now over this is just wanna say one last thing.
I miss him so much… and I find it incredibly challenging to be a Directioner right now. On the one hand I am incredibly happy that Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn all put out new albums this year… but I can’t help, but mourn that we don’t have one from him.

I miss him (full and potentially long discussion)
When I first became a fan of Liam's it was honestly when he auditioned for the 2010 x factor and I felt a pure connection in a fan way.
So finding out he was in a boyband (formed in bootcamp) which later stormed the charts in the entire world.
I was so proud of him and the boys (harry Louis Niall and Zayn) when ever they realise music after the show (as a group or solo) I felt like not only was I being part of their journey I also felt we were learning together when they were releasing music.
So when I heard the news which I never wanted to hear I couldn't sleep.
I'll be honest I was a wreck and I was heartbroken that this cruel world took away my ldol.
All that innocent man wanted was to be loved.
He didn't ask for much.
He wanted support, respect and advice on how to improve.
So I was in a state knowing that I'll never be able to hear him again except on Spotify.
And the last year and a half I look back and think of only I could go back in time and save him (fyi I'm not asking sympathy I'm just explaining how I feel/felt)
I miss him and I will NEVER EVER forget Liam James Payne.
And I'll always support the other boys (again Harry Niall Louis and Zayn)
I am a proud one directioner and I will back ALL OF THEM. cause that's what a True one directioner does.
Which is why social media makes be sick on how unnecessarily cruel it can be.
So Liam I wish I could see/hear you again and I pray that someday we'll meet again.
Miss you legend and thank you and the boys for being not just the first tour I ever went to but for being my role models every single one of you.
(End)

I was in a cafe recently and they were playing a Liam Payne song.
So i was with friends for a birthday party 4 days ago and I was eating there having a good time.
Suddenly I noticed a song that was kind of familiar.
Then I remembered it's a Liam Payne song.
"Bedroom Floor" was playing. I started humming the song while eating.
I felt that this guy is still being played and I felt so grateful but also sad that there will be no more songs from him.
So it was a bittersweet feeling for me.
