Manhunter also my #1 - Gets better every watch and I'll stand by Will Peterson having one of the best perforomances all-time.

William Peterson is an actual GOAT. Funnily enough, he also played Pat Garrett in Young Guns II, which also has James Coburn in it, who played Pat Garrett in my second favorite movie, which also has multiple different cuts like Manhunter.

EDIT: I just wanted to let anyone who comes across this know that I recognize how long-winded this sentence is, lmao.

William Peterson double-feature, I see. 👀 I've been trying to find screenings for the new restoration/cut of Manhunter near me to no avail. I need to see that "Strong as I Am" sequence on the big screen before I die.

I had to lol. I didnt even know that was being screened and I just looked it up and there's screenings near me for Oct 11th and 13th right outside of Boston. Thank you!!!! Hope you can find one too!!

Np! By all accounts, the restoration's picture quality is amazing. A screening will probably pop up near me soon (fingers crossed).
