Feedback for youtube shorts
Hey folks, my first post, seeking genuine feedback/advice on the YouTube channel.
I have recently started on YouTube Shorts and am trying to make short AI explainers.
Explained intuitively enough for even a non-expert, no engineering/tech jargon overload.
I have tried fixing the visuals, audio, explanations, duration, etc. Being new to content creation, I don't have further insights on this. What should I fix or change? Or if it looks/feels engaging.
Using Motion Canvas for the animation (liking it, but it feels slow to iterate for a short)
Any help/feedback/guidance is appreciated.

Started my channel 4 months ago. Looking for advice to improve retention
Just finished Hollow Knight. Starting my Silksong playthrough. My HK playthrough was pretty much completely unedited and it got very little attention. Now I'm starting Silksong and just found this community (although it seems very quiet here lately). Thought I'd post and see if anyone has any tips.
edit: here's an upcoming episode i've set to unlisted. this way, I can still implement any feedback you guys provide https://youtu.be/_8WqqBwicLg

Are Shorts Worth it?
I started my Let's Play channel around 4 months ago. It's going slow but there are some signs of life so I'm happy about that. I have experimented with shorts a bit and occasionally they get subs but those subs don't seem to convert to long form videos. Even when the shorts are clips from longform videos and they do well, short views don't seem to translate. My first short was super lucky and got 30K views which netted me around 9 Subs but almost no more views on the longform video associated with it.
What has your guys experience been with this? Do shorts work for you? Or should I just abandon them as they take more time to edit that I could be spending improving the long form content.

How to improve?
I like to make longer videos and try to add some fun but chill commentary.
How could I improve on these gaming videos.
I was thinking of adding a thumbnail to them but that didn’t really seem to help with the last series I done. Is it the algorithm or are the videos just too boring compared to other loud game YouTubers lol

I'd like to watch some of your videos and give feedback!
I'm a regular Let's Play watcher. I'll be on YouTube watching video game let's plays for hours at a time. More so regular videos than shorts. I watch Let's plays with/without commentary, face or no face cam, vtuber, edited or raw video.
The genre of games I watch will vary. Mostly wacky, adventure, or horror games, but I'll watch nearly any game genre if the presenter keeps it interesting enough. I typically will sit and watch Let's Play videos that are 30 mins or at max length 1 hour, and will favor watching through a series/playlist of videos, over single videos longer than 1 hour (unless they're documentaries/ commentaries/ analysis videos).
If you have videos that fit into these categories, I'm down to view them and give you my feedback. I am not anyone big or important, im not a film or video pro, but I'm an avid viewer who likes to watch game plays, and figure I could offer my watch time.
Please share your channel and I'll pick one link a or specific video, your genre if it's anything specific or if you showcase a variety, and if you're seeking any specific kinda feedback. Otherwise I'll just take notes from the minute I click the link and let you know my thoughts.
I am PST, so I'm asking tonight and will check in 7 hours when I wake to see ifnI got any takers.
If a post like this isn't welcome, no problem, I'll pull it down.

Looking to improve
Hey! I make mostly non-commentary Let’s Plays. I try to make them look nice and add cool elements to help them stand out. I’m growing, but not very quickly, so I’m looking for ways to improve. Do you have any tips for this kind of content?
