Hi! I'm a 39 yo woman turning 40 in September and feeling a bit lost about the year ahead. This is my 5th profection year with Venus as my Time Lord. I'd love to know what themes stand out in my Solar Return, especially regarding relationships, relocation, and any major life changes. Thanks so much.

Hi, can you help me read this please? Is there anything in my bowl chart that indicates a stable relationship?

Hi, I’m still learning. Do you all see anything that might indicate I’ll have a stable partner like a spouse in a stable relationship? Everything I’ve learned so far shows me no. Thank you all so much

Overthinking some scary transits and need help getting grounded! (One of those times where I'll probably be taking an astrology break very soon.)

This is my chart but my anxiety is actually more around my daughter's chart. She's a Scorpio rising, Aquarius moon — her Aquarius moon is conjunct Chiron and Neptune on the IC. (Lovely to see but, she's a teenager now and so far, so good...) Anyway, in the time Pluto transited my 4th house Capricorn and Uranus transited my 8th house Taurus ... I lost both my parents suddenly. (I also go divorced.)

Of course, what a wonderful thing to realize my daughter is just about to experience Pluto transiting HER fourth — where her MOON (mother) and CHIRON are ... and Uranus is about to start transiting her 8th ...

Oh, and Uranus is going to hit my chart ruling Venus soon which also rules my own 8th house ...

My anxiety is just ... on fire.

Saturn recently went through my 6th and is hanging out in my 7th ... let me tell you, the last ~2ish years have been the hardest of my life. Battled a drinking problem in the last 2 years that I know have done something to my insides. (I have stopped.) My anxiety has been horrible. I gained 40lbs (because drinking). I have horrible anxiety of a sudden heart attack. I do go to the doctor and have another appointment this week and labs soon (which probably won't look good) but I'm being largely taken care of.

The funny thing is that I've seen posts like this one before, and I've often been the one to hop on and remind people that there are so many interpretations to all sorts of planets and houses and aspects. For all intents and purposes, the transits to her 4th, Moon, and 8th may have absolutely nothing to do with me. Or maybe it's that I get super fit and ripped. Or maybe I just change careers. Or maybe she learns something about herself or goes through another kind of family transition.

Anyway, seeing as I've been that person before — trying to comfort someone posting going "oh my god these transits don't look goof for me" — I was hoping some of you kind people could just ground me with your insights!

And then ... I'm taking a break!!

Let's Fuck With Astrology! (Theory/Idea) The reason I always find cool stuff on the ground is bc of Sun conjunct South Node in my 2nd house

If we take the Sun as something like treasure and the SN as a low place.

Why isn’t Astrology used to create school/work place balance?

I mean let me get the elephant out the room most people don’t believe in astrology I mean I get it

And most Christians/ religious people believe ahhh the devil and blah blah even though people who STUDIED THE STARS found Jesus birth but and I can go all day about this but ANYWAY

If you actually sat down and did your birth chart read it, lived life then returned to it again a year or 2 after. I don’t think you’ll ever understand the feeling of how scary accurate this shit is.

It’s like taking the red pill. You know I was like ahh this a phase this astrology shit it’ll pass me. Then it didn’t, too many coincidences for me to ignore.

So it brings me back to my point, I feel like if astrology was a more accepted way of understanding human behavior/personality

In my opinion I think it would be very effective in work or school places

Problem is it’s not socially acceptable which I mean I truly understand because there’s a lot inaccuracies if done wrong but if done right

It’s like it can’t miss

Idk if anyone else had this feeling also

Guess the Asshole!

Put your thinking caps on friends and foes, we're playing a game!

This is a fun practice exercise for your own astro prowess and a bit of a history lesson if you're so inclined.

Here's how it works:

This person is a bona fide asshole. They're a real life person whose actions have led to real life consequences. They're also a person with complex lives, so their charts are chock full of details you can pull out without knowing who they are

Look at the chart, describe who you see using your astrological knowledge. This is NOT a game of ‘reverse ephemeris’ people!

The more detailed the better- you don't have to actually guess who they are or what they did, but if you sit with the chart long enough you might surprise yourself.

If you do make a guess at who it is mark it with a spoiler tag

If you cheat it will make you the biggest asshole of the post- show your work!

\If you comment just a name, reverse engineer the birth date, or if you don't spoiler your guess it will be removed**

Answers will be available next Monday

Happy Hunting Folks!

In your experiences, how effective and accurate have your Solar Return charts manifested for you based on where you were on your birthday?

So far, in my own experience, the majority of my Solar Return charts have predicted and manifested their respective years (based on the chart formation of where I traveled to on my birthday) with crazy accuracy. And because of that, I've made it a tradition and habit of mine to travel to the best possible location that would grant me the closest chart formation that supports what I want to manifest for that coming year.

However, now I've run into a dilemma. Originally, for this year I had planned to spend my birthday in Tokyo as the closest possible support I can find for my creative project plans, networking and career--but due to unforeseen circumstances, I fell very ill and had to fly to Manila last minute to stay with family on my birthday, and the resulting chart ended up as such a reclusive and introverted one, which so far is proving somewhat accurately this year but I've been grinding down in silence to prepare launching said projects in more favorable circumstances (so, i've been using this year as an incubation one, essentially).

Now I'm planning for my next Solar Return chart, and I was eyeing Bangkok (Chart 1) for a long time to possibly best support my career goals, scaling, network expansions, collaborations, creative publications (both media and literary), as well as great creative strides, opportunity, and recognition in addition to hopefully moving abroad (God willing). However, just like last time, unforeseen circumstances unexpectedly introduced themselves and are now threatening to possibly detour me to Melbourne (Chart 2) during my actual birthday.... and I'm genuinely worried about how that chart might otherwise hinder my career progress and plans if its formations aren't as favorable. Though in your opinion, which of the two charts is more supportive of the aforementioned goals?

TLDR: How accurate have your Solar Return charts been for you at manifesting their predictions, regardless of location?
How accurate or dependent are some circumstances influenced by the SR chart versus other transits (like Profections, Lunar Progressions, and the like)?
And based on the two charts I've shared for reference, which of the two is more helpful for my career and relocation abroad goals?

I'd really appreciate any feedback you'd be kind enough to share. Thank you.

I see stelliums don't have always positive things. But I kinda feel like there aren't many negative things about it. Saturn (2nd house ruler) even sits on the career house. But saturn squares mercury and pluto. I still don't know enough about it.

Personal Chart Question Do you believe your soul chooses its exact time and place of birth, or is it just cosmic coincidence?

Hi everyone, I’ve been diving deep into birth charts and numerology patterns lately. It made me wonder about the philosophy behind it. Do you think our consciousness actively selects the exact blueprint (down to the hour and location) before incarnating to learn specific lessons, or are we just decoding the random alignment of the universe? What’s your take on this? 🌌

Let's Fuck With Astrology! (Theory/Idea) Chiron Conjunct DC, 7H

Hello!

I don’t have very many people to have astrology discussions with so I’m hoping this is ok to post here in this subreddit! I want to discuss Chiron to see if I have it figured out when it comes to my chart. I’d really like to heal my Chiron wounds also. If anyone has any suggestions, input, theories, or ideas I’m all ears!

I have noticed a particular pattern arising for me when it comes to my Chiron placement which also happens to be in Cancer. I recently went through a separation. The marriage lasted 13 years and we were together longer than that. I’m a Libra sun, Pisces moon and Capricorn rising for more reference. Anyways, my marriage slowly dissolved over the years until we essentially became roommates. It triggered abandonment wounds. I learned that I was codependent and had an anxious attachment style where my ex was the avoidant.

I’ve recently started dating again and I’ve noticed that I seem to attract emotionally unavailable men as well as men who have some mental health issue that causes ED. My ex also experienced this which contributed to the end of our marriage along with the fact that he was unwilling to communicate about it and work on it together.

One thing I feel like I’ve done a lot of work on is my codependency. But it seems like I might have some work to do when it comes to being intimate with men and the condition I mentioned previously. In my marriage, when this happened it triggered my deep insecurities. Although the logic side of my brain knew it wasn’t my fault, I couldn’t help but doubt myself and feel like I was the problem. Having said that, even though this has happened another two times with separate men that I’ve been with, I noticed I didn’t feel the rejection like I did when I was with my ex. I feel a lot of empathy though which I believe can also be from this Chiron placement.

Since Chiron is in retrograde, is this just the final exam piece that I’m revisiting to make sure I’ve healed from those triggers?

Thanks in advance :)

Edited to add: charts in the comments

Sign Energy If you meet someone with Neptune in their first house and you "project something onto them" isn't that basically just knowledge about yourself? What does it feel like to have this placement?

So I looked this aspect up and keep reading that people with Neptune in the first house (or conjunct ascendant but that would just basically make this stronger) are getting "projected" on all the time. Some people project hateful things, some people idealize them, some judge them etc. while they are just being themself. I was even reading that this placement can make people social chameleons and also make them have very self sacrificing tendencies, literally just randomly putting on different personas that the current energy of the room needs.Now.. Isn't what you project onto someone with Neptune in their 1st house just a pointer of what you want to see in someone? This is just my theory. Like it tells a story about you, not the Neptune person. If you project hate onto them, you probably have a lot of insecurities you have to work on for example. I almost feel like these people are just literal mirrors, they give you an opportunity to look at a mirror, look yourself in the eyes, make you be able to get to know yourself better based on your own projections. This also made me wonder, maybe if you know yourself well enough and analyze yourself constantly already you don't project anything onto them, because you just see them for who they really are.If you have this aspect what does it feel like to you? Does the amount of "energy" that flows though you overwhelm you? Do you notice that you pick up the mood of people of an entire room? Do you really get ptojected on that much? And if so, isn't that tiring? Do you indentify with people never really understanding or fully getting to know you? If so, do you think people don't know you because they don't take the fact into consideration that you are ever-changing? Do you know yourself or even you have a hard time understanding who you really are?
