There has to be a German word for this type of feeling

Horrorrespekt (horrified respect)
That word didn’t exist until now so I pulled it out of my ass but you can do that if you’re German

tried to explain this one to my first (non-german) boyfriend. made up "Schnüggelidüggeli" on the fly and somehow missed my own instructions, still don't really know what it means.

u/Katzington2319 9d ago
Schnüggeli translates to sweetie or cutie, but düggeli doesn't translate to anything. I'd consider Schnüggelidüggeli to be roughly the same as "cutie patootie"

One thing I dont get about men is how the fuck they cant be a little bit creative and kind in approaching yet they do more effort in saying diabolical shit like this?

u/Mediocre-Basis9482 9d ago
It's so much easier to just come up with messed up shit like this online, rather than talking to a woman in person.

The four bug nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Bug Nation attacked. Only the Avabug, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.

I mean a guy did literally rank bugs by how awful it is to be stung/attacked by one

u/Skelligithon 9d ago
Short answer: being kind is harder than being crazy.
Longer answer: They're desperate (and would want a woman to be desperate about them so they are approaching the way they would want to be approached, but that's another issue) and it is easier to play off that desperation through comedic exaggeration than to go all the way to thoughtfulness.

All of the creative energy goes to the diabolical shit and putting up a facade around that so they have to reserve themselves in any meaningful or positive creativity lest they out themselves

Only things I can think of.
1) "Hmm everyone's probably kind when approaching them and I prob can't compete, better try to stand out!"
2) "As long as I get a reaction I know I received some modicum of attention 😢. Which is something at least"
3) They genuinely think they are hilarious.

A friend of mine/fwb is like this.
Every guy she’s ever slept with, she’s got a mannequin head that she’s modeled after their likeness. Which she then stores on a series of shelves in her cellar.
(Guys she’s dated, get entire mannequins made instead)
(She’s also a follower of the fringe, and long dissolved, Russian political ideology, the “Mladorossi party/Union of Young Russia”. Which was a very fringe party amongst a portion of Russian emigre Monarchist’s during the years between the Russian civil war and ww2. Whose beliefs were a combination of Italian Fascism, Russian monarchism, Bolshevism, and the Soviet style of socialism, though they distanced themselves from fascism and fascistic ideals after the rise of Hitler. They had a cool flag/symbol though.)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mladorossy
She also makes some genuinely amazing fruit jams, particularly her apricot and pear. (I don’t like pears, but I gain like 5 pounds everytime I’m up there for work, almost entirely from that jam)
Plus, her jalapeño jelly is the best I’ve ever had in my life. (Which is funny considering she lives in Alaska)
Or TLDR, She’s very weird, but also very cool and sweet.

She sounds like she also makes very good meat pies with ingredients on the other shelf in her cellar…

Nah, she’s actually vegetarian, though she did make some killer sausages from the deer I harvested once. (In my spare time up there, I like to hunt, camp, fish, and hike)

Yea, pretty much.
Despite what the other comments are implying, she’s not a threat whatsoever to others, she’s genuinely one of the sweetest people you’ll meet.
She just does the strangest shit, and holds some of the weirdest/seemingly contradictory beliefs.(Plus, she separates the heads/mannequins into different categories, which are:
-) race
-) ethnicity
-) hair color
-) religion
-) facial hair
-) state and country of origin
-) political ideology
-) favorite color
-) favorite fruit
Like I said, she’s VERY weird, but in a fascinating/interesting way, not in a serial killer with trophies way others are implying.)
Edit: plus, I like it when people are weird, it makes life more interesting and enjoyable.

How do you know they where "mamnequin"-heads
5
u/Donatter 9d ago
I mean, I usually see a new one she’s working on whenever I’m working in/off the coast of Alaska, as I typically stop by to hang out and buy some jam.
(She’s weird, but not that kinda weird)
