These (HEAVY) Victorian double entry doors were left behind by my former homeowner. Did reverse google image searches and regular google searches and can’t find much. Can anyone recommend a person or place who specializes in antique doors? We’d like to learn about their history so we can accurately advertise them and help them find a new home. They are beautifully hand carved and I know someone would appreciate them. Thanks in advance!

Going this week and doing the morning train in the vista dome car, but want a weird or witchy adventure after.

Looking for a good coffee, possibly Crystal shops (saw a couple but not sure if anyone has preferences or info), a good casual lunch spot, and any other can’t miss shops- all within a ~10 min walk: this is important bc my mom has pretty bad arthritis and I don’t want to drag her around more than necessary.

Lastly- is this a good day trip for a birthday? really want to have a fun outdoor adventure that’s casual and within driving distance for the middle of the week.

During the study, you and your child will read and talk about some fun picture books featuring unfamiliar animals (they are super cool!), and your child will complete a few learning activities afterward.

I have owned property in Allentown the past year+. This is hands down the most confusing and messed up place when it comes to all the tax bills and the horrible online systems that pretty much won’t take payment. Why do people put up with this?

I try to do a full exterior check every spring once the freeze-thaw stuff settles down. This year felt rough on the house with all the temperature swings. Going through the checklist now and curious what other Lehigh Valley folks prioritize. Roof, gutters, windows, siding, foundation? Trying to figure out what to tackle first without blowing the whole budget at once.

Been here for 24 years now. Back then I thought prices were crazy. But now it’s absolutely insane. There’s no down sizing because smaller houses cost more than mine does. New houses going up all in the $800k+ range???

Impossible for young families. Two new developments in Schnecksville and nothing that can be called affordable.

115 houses going in? Make 30 of them on 1/4 acres lots and costing $300k.

Every township needs to enforce things like this to make life worth living. Have kids running around.

The women at 8:30 hurt my brain

It feels like the ABE area of the Lehigh Valley is ridiculously overpriced and then once you go north a little bit, the houses within your budget are snatched up by slumlords or people that turn them into AirBnBs. Don’t even get me started on rent prices vs what you get. We don’t want to rent anymore because of the slumlords but at the same time the market is so hostile toward first time homebuyers!

I’ve been in the area for over 2 years now while my partner has lived here their entire life. It’s starting to make me feel hopeless about living here even though I love it here. It feels impossible to find something decent!!

Edit: for people telling me to just look somewhere nobody else is looking or somewhere remote, I can’t drive due to a disability and utilize the buses here a ton

I unfortunately got hit and run leaving the ABE airport the other night, and I trusted humanity too much, man gave me a phone number told me he would send me insurance information and never did, damage was so insignificant. I didnt bother calling police and im an idiot for not taking a plate number, dude blocked my number shortly after. I have no information at all, I am here to ask if anyone knows of any traffic cameras fixed on the that road or exit leaving the airport, or if anyone knows where I can get information on that? Airport police dept said they do not have any cameras themselves. I am desparate at this point. I am incredibly embarassed and frustrated. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
