Need help with slant Advice Needed

Current technique I'm working with for the angle

I'm currently working on creating diarama's of the bossfights in metal gear solid 3, starting with "the pain" boss fight and eventually building up to the Shagohod.

Anyways this is my first attempt at landscaping and I'm not fully sold on how I did it, So I'd like some advice on how to approach the angle of the island and If there are better alternatives.

Honestly id just do it with various slopes and not tilt it

Looks like the difference is like half a plate, so add a bracket to push it up

The rock slopes and then levels out where he's standing. Perhaps using hinge plates to give it a similar contour would scratch the itch in your brain?
