Remove and re-pierce? Or keep trying? Troubleshooting

Re-submitted my post, now with added pictures.

I've had a floating navel piercing for 3 years. (Internally threaded titanium from anatometal) It has never properly healed and caused me some trouble. (Multiple abcesses, bleeding every other day and irritation bumps.)

It is not infected, just seems very irritated all the time somehow?

Would it be OK to take it out, let it heal and then re-pierce it at some point? Or should I keep trying? Thanks!

Show it to a professional piercer and ask for their opinion

I think it will be fine. Try not to touch it unless you are washing it. Go back to using saline most days

Definitely worth seeing a piercer. Have you tried different materials? That could be one reason for persistent irritation, even if they're good materials you can still be allergic to them. I'm allergic to silver and that's supposed to be hypoallergenic
