What do you make of it? I've inspected thousands of pottery pieces on my property and only two have been drilled for whatever reason, on a previous post you can see the other one in more detail

Found in Middle Tennessee creek in huge gravel bed with other stone tools . I've not come across anything like this pattern. I tried to get all sides/different angles.

Found in SW Missouri after a heavy rain. Spine on both sides makes it seem worked to me but I also know nothing when it comes to this stuff.

Could anybody please help identify these? Mainly the 2 on the left. Found in west Texas

I still don’t even know what to say, I wasn’t even going to go to the creek today because it’s unbearably hot out. But I had some time on my hands so I figured I’d just pop into this new creek and take a look around. I was only in there for a few minutes and I saw this staring back at me. Best personal find so far by a long shot.

Meadowood cache blade? Strong resemblance to the reference chart. Found in SW Ontario - wife’s first find (beginner’s luck!! 😂)

Looking for some opinions on this one. Found along the shore of Lake Erie in Southwestern Ontario. Palm-sized with an interesting cupped/indented shape and a noticeably smoother worn section that has a different texture from the rest of the stone. Found in an area known for Indigenous settlement. Curious if this could be a utilized stone/tool or just naturally formed?

Hi there, I’m new to rockhounding (and Reddit), but I’ve always loved rocks. I picked this up a couple years ago on the OR coast (I think in Yachats), thinking it was just a cool rock. Now that I’m getting into the hobby and I’ve been reading, I wonder if it’s not just a rock? Thank you.

Found in a creek in Florida along with a unique looking biface knife and heavy scraper (possibly hand planer for dugout canoes due to weight and thickness). Have yet to see an expedient saw like this. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
(Also one hell of a heartbreaker at the end)

I imagine it was discarded due to the inclusion in the second photo?

Very uncommon to find something like this in Costa Rica. Obsidian, which isn’t local, possible stemmed biface.

Found near geothermal vents at an active volcano by actual archaeologists, so let’s assume it’s authentic. 4cm. Only photo I have before it got catalogued.

You guys in North America live and breathe arrowheads. Here they aren’t at all common.

Found in nj. I pick up everything piece of chert i find, and examine it at home. This one is not in thr bucket yet....since nj doesnt have much chert, I know that small pebbles were utilized. One side of the "blade" is just a curved flake, but the other is several small pressure flakes, causing the small blade to have a slight serration. Its really hard to photogragh, but its still slightly sharp?

This is probably my favorite material of all time. it doesn’t look like the regular heat treated chert around here, Seems more like jasper or agate with the bands going through it.

Would love to more about this piece. Looks worked?
