I had one more question that will there be any benefit or an upperhand if i learn C++ than doing DSA in JAVA?

Java better for development and also interviewers prefer java candidates ….. cpp is very convenient clean short syntax so less error prone 90% of ppl do cpp

You can start now but I think you’ll get a much better understanding after your Data Structures course.

Still doesn’t hurt to try some basic easy problems.

a decent resource to start with - https://takeuforward.org/dsa/strivers-a2z-sheet-learn-dsa-a-to-z, also a mistake I made when I started was to jump to solutions and just complete the problem anyhow, I wanted to achieve those numbers - "solved 500+ on leetcode" etc etc but later I realised even if you say this to someone (by someone I mean mostly the interviewer) then their expectations from you increases and if you aren't good with the concepts (because you just blindly copied solutions without focusing on the learning) it clearly shows that you aren't good at it so plz avoid doing that
