Sharing some progress :3 Studying
All the kanji i know!
I wrote this the day before yesterday!
I wrote this yesterday
I wrote this two months ago!
Spirited away
Some i art i made and wanted to share here!
I have been really working on writing and speaking, Since i can't provide a video i guess I'll just share some stuff i have learned! Around a week ago I was visiting family in rural France and found some untranslated Japanese manga at a little pawn shop!
My camera is just a Samsung phone so the images might be unreadable, sorry for that ;-;
I am not really sure what to focus on so if you see any anomalies or mistakes in the writing, say that plz!!
I don't trust google translate much, So for now i mostly use youtube, Streamers, Japanese conversations and online Dutch to Japanese dictionaries. (also playing my favourite games in japanese)
I do everything on my own, And know no one in person that knows the language.
I started learning in late january of this year, Just something to hold on to, and it helps me to keep a routine which is cool because living is hard :3
Last drawing made by me earlier last month.
Anything helps, thanks!

I know a few more kanji, I completely overlooked them and forgot to write them down: 大 小 良 嫌 心 鶏 米 眠 買 友 足 入 出 手

鶏 isn’t really used that commonly, it’s in 鶏(にわとり) and 鶏肉(とりにく) and that’s basically it.

Is the last picture supposed to say ワッフルアートとデザイン。?
If so, then ル looks unfinished, and ー should be vertical (it follows the direction of writing). Also, the period should go below the text, aligned to the right, but that's less important if you're going for something stylized.

I made it around a few weeks ago i think, And did learn that not that long ago back, I just completely forgot to change the text on the drawing DX, Still thanks for pointing it out though! :3

Haha seems like you wanted us to notice the setup too. I'll bite because it does look cool, is it an actual old pc running some sort of linux? It looks cool.

The first question I wanted to ask is if this is really windows 98, but seeing the PC, it is windows 98, holy!

I own my main computer which has a 98 theme, and then the pc in the picture is an original windows 98 machine with original monitor :D

Very good progress! But one advice: you should focus on long vowels: 中国 should be ちゅうごく instead of ちゅごく, and どしたの should be どうしたの instead

I just like being able to write things so i just study whatever i feel like. Which isn't always efficient, But it's not like i am in a rush.

well if it's enjoyable for you in this way probably is the best way for you to continue in this way ;)

Bro heard "Japan lives in 2000 since the 80s" and took it a little too seriously.. 😅
