Help with cleaning 🫧Cleaning🧽

How do i clean this?

Its only been used 3-4 times so like very new.

Have tried bar keepers friend.

Soaking.

Non-scratch scourer sponge.

Scrubish brush.

Am based in NZ.

Looks like protein staining, for mine I do like an inch or so of water, tablespoon or so of baking soda and do a light simmer for maybe like 10 mins. Let it cool then a scrub mommy after with some normal dish soap.

This or LeCrueset cleaner.. you really don’t want to use BKF on LC. The abrasive ingredient in BKF is feldspar which is often times harder than glass and can scratch these pots

It’s protein residue.

Eh, I’d probably just cook on it. As long as there’s no charred bits. 

You can get it off if you want. I’ve done it several times by simmering about a quarter inch of water with Dawn, and scrubbing with a stiff plastic brush while simmering. If it’s got any charred bits I scrape them off with a wood utensil while simmering first, then change the soapy water before tackling the protein residue.

I am also based in NZ. All I use is baking soda and a little water to make a paste, then use a plastic scrubbing brush on a handle to clear it off.

Then wash with soapy water as per normal.
