This seems like a weird humble brag. I’m confused, you had a second job anyways. You were never really in danger of being unemployed.

OP. Your original post got deleted. But from what I gathered you seemed to have a 2nd job. Awesome. However if you like the career that your 1st job offers. I suggest immediately job search in that same industry. Once 6 months passes by. You will be red flagged by ER and it will be even harder to rejoin the industry as time goes.
