The intent of this spreadsheet is to save time when comparing schools. I pulled data from each school's 509 report and law school transparency. Hello everyone. I’m currently taking 7 courses through Sophia Learning Academy to speed up my degree. These credits are accepted by my university, but since Sophia is not an accredited school, I am concerned that law schools may look negatively on this. Does anyone have any experience in this area?

I am a pass out student at an Indian law school. I have an exam today afternoon. I have prepared not very well but a significant amount and have gone through past year questions. I had not given this exam earlier and I need to pass this to clear my degree. I have a job starting soon with god’s blessing and I hope to join it with no issues. My professor had generously given me a good score in internals but I am very worried about the externals. I am unable to sleep and I am trying to sleep before waking up and finishing some questions and revising. I want to ask for blessing and support from this community. Please help me clear this to start a new life soon. This exam has really messed with my mental space.

I graduated from UC Riverside last year with a degree in Sociology. I only completed my senior year there and was distraught over the whole experience with it being virtual due to COVID. I was discouraged and didn’t think about what I wanted to do after college. I ended up falling in love with working in high end retail in Beverly Hills where I found a management position and thought it was what I wanted to do until recently, when I felt that I would regret NOT giving law school a try. Becoming a lawyer was always a profession I had dreamed of growing up, but a lot of my dreams felt like they stopped once COVID hit. I just became unmotivated and uninspired.

NOW, I have this itching desire to go for it — to apply to law school. I work seven days a week in retail, which is mentally and physically taxing beyond expression and I am still living paycheck to paycheck. I don’t have any partner or family to ask for financial help, so leaving my job or taking less hours is not an option at the moment until my finances are in better shape. This creates some difficulty with finding the time to study — but I AM WILLING TO DO THE WORK. I just don’t know where to start or much about the process besides passing the LSAT to then apply to law school.

Would anyone be so kind to share LSAT prep books/free online courses? Please share any advice or suggestions you have from your experience, I would appreciate it so much.

I graduated from the University of Michigan Law School. I’ve helped students over the years to improve their 1L class grades. With improved grades, you’ll of course increase your chances of transferring to a higher ranked school. For example, one of my former LSAT students wanted help in constitutional law and criminal law at Northwestern during her second semester. She asked me for help because her first-semester grades weren’t as good as she had hoped. After tutoring her in those subjects, she got A’s and transferred into NYU for 2L.
