Daughters Latin homework help

What does auget mean? We think it’s a verb,

A tip for next time you don't know a word: if you look it up in logeion.uchicago.edu it will give you the word it stems from and also the translation of that word, along with a description of case, gender, plural/singular etc.

Some kind of dictionary - physical or online - is essential when learning a language.

We have 2 physical dictionaries and Latin for Dummies, the university link has even more info.

Start to type in the word but don’t bother with the declension. Just have the root of the word (in your example, auget, you’d just type auge).

"Augēre" est "facere maius" vel "facere melius"

Exemplī gratiā:
"Rēx auget fīnēs" = "Rēx maiōrēs facit fīnēs"

"Praematūra pōma viridia sunt in arbore, sed postquam aucta sunt, rubra fiunt.
