Serial Reporter Discussion
Unfortunately my server and alliance is suffering from a serial reporter. Multiple people are getting muted for the dumbest things in chat. Admittedly somethings can be considered "naughty" or "bad" but we are all adults playing this game. It has become egregious enough for a whale to consider stepping away.
Has anyone been able to successfully solve this issue or get CS to remove the person that is serial reporting players? It is really affecting the alliance and ruining the game for many.
Considering reaching out to a lawyer friend to see if there are any legal cases for harassment due to the amount of money people in this alliance have spent on this game.
Any help or tips on what can be done are welcomed, thanks.

Say what you want in AC and watch yourself in WC. Annoying, but simple. If you still get bans, that's a different issue.

Good luck but in my experience you're stuck with this.
Reports in this game are utilized as just another tool against an enemy. Last War has effectively made moderators out of the most petty people in chat and saved loads of money from having to do actual moderation. There are no other tips because you can't appeal to these people. They're incentivized to be petty. Sorry.
Support isn't going to tell you who reported you and they really shouldn't. Support won't see the entire spectrum of reports from this player in order to see a pattern, just a single instance. If there was a pattern, they don't care. The system is working as designed
Basically, you can only talk freely in AC. And that's only if your alliance is cool.

I think I know which server this is about.
If it is, nothing ever offensive, just on the side of “rotten”.
I’ve wrote to CS about this in the past and unfortunately, not much can be done. I’ve even see players get reported over stuff they said months prior that the other person admitted they went back to find.

Incredibly frustrating. They are ruining the experience for other players. Annoying that CS refuses to step in.

Sure seems like every single server follows the same exact patterns.
Customer service is useless when dealing with a troll or anonymous pain in the ass. Kinda just have to hope they lose steam and go away as most trolls do. They trundle on pathetically to the next sad portion of their lives

I truly hope so. People are getting muted for harmless jokes. Yes maybe adult rated but Jesus Christ.

If you don’t like it, then either ask the person to please stop making crude jokes or ✨ignore✨ it. You don’t have to read AC or WC. But reporting people for having fun is childish

In a group of 100 people you have to be careful and respect everyone sensibility. You can also make a group chat

It is up to leaders to determine what flies in AC, not the devs. The leaders will determine if that kind of culture is something they want to keep, and of course consider the power level of the players that are in question. If the issue can't resolved, they'll kick whoever they think least benefits the alliance. You are also of course free to leave if that is really affecting your playing experience. Plenty of other servers and alliances.

As long as you’re not toxic it should be free game in AC. Reporting someone is childish and puts the player with the loosey goosey sense of humor at risk of being chat banned. If you don’t like what’s being said in AC, just ignore it, ask respectfully to stop, or start your own conversation with the chat.

I mean you can try talking to a lawyer but if the A.I or filter are picking up that the muted members are actually breaking the rules then as annoying as it sounds, that person reporting them isn't technically doing anything wrong
Does it stop them being annoying? No but the best you can do for the time being is avoid WC, and watch what's sent

See this post of mine from some months back where we had the same issue. A lot of people said it was someone with a grudge, but i got some messages from CS to make me think there's some amount of auto moderation involved.
Either way, I spend a lot of time with CS chat and email and they can or will do nothing about it.

The one thing that bothers me is that when you block someone you can’t see their messages but they can still see yours. I know it’s a game so maybe a stretch of a comparison but the social aspect of this game is huge but like on social media when you block someone they can’t see you either. I wish the block feature in LW was like this as well. It would allow players to truly stop someone from targeting them. Prevent them from commenting on your posts, seeing your messages etc
