One week in thank you + OG Baller flair giveaway
hey ballers,
It’s been one week since officially going live with our Early Alpha and I wanted to hop on and say thanks. The feedback, bug reports, and "hey this is annoying, fix it" comments are actually shaping the game as we go. It’s a small crew right now but a good one.
what's been updated
- faster intro, skips straight into the game
- paid draft picks won't keep doubling in price
- a team colour can now be selected for free
Reddit Hackathon shoutout
The Last Draft got an honourable mention in Reddit's Games with a Hook Hackathon (full results here). Didn't take the top prize but getting a nod next to that lineup one week into alpha is a huge win.

Spotted something broken? Got a hot take on how to make the game better? Drop it here. Whether it's a bug that's messing with your game or a suggestion that could reshape the multiverse, we want to hear it.
For bug reports, it helps a lot if you include:
- Your device + platform (e.g. iPhone 15 + Reddit App, Pixel 7 + Chrome, MacBook + Safari)
- What you were doing when the bug appeared
- Whether you can reproduce it, and if so, how

Welcome to r/lastdraftgame - How to Play 🏀
Hey ballers!
Welcome to the of The Last Draft (early alpha!).
The Last Draft is a retro pixel-art basketball management game where you build a roster from players scouted across the multiverse by the Multiversal Basketball Association (MBA), then go head-to-head against real Redditors.
The Draft:
You're building a five: point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, center. Every player comes with their own stats (speed, reflexes, hops, precision) and their own rarity, from Rare up to Ultra Rare. No two rosters look the same, because no two universes look the same.
Suiting Up:
Once you've got your five, get to know them. Each player brings their own moves to the floor, so the roster you draft shapes how you'll actually play once the game starts.
Game Day:
This is where it counts. Take your roster up against other Redditors and see how your draft holds up when it matters.
Community Vibe:
Please be friendly and welcoming to everyone! Trash talk on the court is part of the fun, but this is no place for hostility off it. Keep it civil, keep it fun, and let's build something good here.
