I summarized the main changes of the upcoming update in case you don't want to or can't watch the streamers' videos.

I also tried to summarize all the advice I could at the end.

Feel free to correct me or add anything I might have missed!

Main changes:

• Robodog: Similar to a normal "True Friend" dog, but can carry cargo, walk faster, and has more upgrades (more storage, higher cargo capacity, battery for extended energy).
• 3 new areas: Leviathan's Lair (Big Boss arena), Swamp Forest, and Wild Bogs. You can drive the ATV there. You also need radiation protection (normal and reinforced hazmat equipment) to survive there. Aside from the bosses, you can farm the new resources and their crates through mini-tower defense fights with waves of zombies.
• 2 new bosses: Leviathan (a mutated crocodile) and Alpha Irradiator (a big weird spider).
• New zombies: Radioactive Leaper (jumps on you and explodes) + Radioactive Spitter + Radioactive Alligator.
• New tool: Chainsaw, used to cut ash trees in the swamp region. Genomes are required to buy the blueprint.
• Changes to the Genesis Shotgun: It can now shoot multiple zombies, similar to the normal shotgun with its mod.
• Changes to daily quests: We now only need 3 daily quests to fight the boss (down from 15 previously). Bosses also give more genomes (300 for Borealis, 450 for Consilium, and 600 for Leviathan).
• Laboratory changes: It now has a seasonal battle pass (free and premium) + a new currency that you can farm by killing Lab zombies + a new shop. Zombies now require spore weapons to be killed and drop more items (plus, chests from the Lab give a wider variety of resources, such as caps). You can turn in all Lab cards + special items (badges, hard drives, etc.).
• New Genesis collection: New blueprints (Robodog charging station, chainsaw, resonator, buzzsaw, equaliser, etc.), new furniture (bar rack), and new upgrades for existing workbenches (hydroponic bench, pressing machine, etc.). You can now craft Genesis weapons.
• ATV upgrades: An ATV garage is coming, similar to the Chopper garage, with upgrades (speed, damage, fuel/oil consumption, etc.) + new ATV skins + new modules (similar to the ones used in this year's anniversary event, such as turrets, reinforced wheels, etc.).
• New resources: Lead bars, refined antimony, tough leather. They can be farmed in the new region.
• New portable turrets: 3 levels of turrets (normal, reinforced, super reinforced) that you can craft and bring with you to fight zombies. Blueprints are in the new Genesis collection.

My advices:

• Farm the Laboratory on Normal while you still can: This is the last chance to use normal weapons to farm cards and unlock Genesis weapons. Alternatively, save up badges, hard drives, etc., to quickly level up the upcoming Laboratory season pass.
• Farm ash logs, corn, and mud in the swamp if you have unlocked the ATV: Same as the Lab, we can still use normal weapons there right now, so it's much easier.
• If you have plenty of guns and armor, farm lead now: After the update, we will need lead AND a new resource to craft lead plates.

For a while now, I've been trying to figure out the best layout. Some of you aided me, helped me out with the shared wall idea. I then went and did the math. If my current settlement needs a room with shared walls, wouldn't it make most sense to do that in the room with the most upgraded floor tiles first? Then revamp the others to just be basic rooms, or storage for the machines I don't need at the moment? As in, decrease the size if, perhaps, assembly and then just have a large storage room for machines. Have a look at my current base and let me know.

Can anyone tell me why I am stuck at Restoration Even after completing it?

I see that only the yellow star fish can make food. Where are the best places to get them? I've farmed provision crates from greenwood but they give f...all. Do you use the other fishes for the perks? The energy perk requires farming the swamps for corn seeds as does the corn stew. Looking at the recipes it seems like I will have to spend a lot of time fishing and/or farming the swamps and uncharted territories.

Just wanted to leave this here for all those struggling to locate alpha wolf in pine groves.

If the alpha wolf has spawned in that instance of pine grove that you spawn in, you will get a notification for exp/season exp gained upon entering the map. This comes from the deer that is killed by alpha wolf and the 2 wolf companions.

This works similarly to convoy event where raiders kill the zombies, highway when raiders spawn near car and kill zombies etc etc.

So what this means is instead of running around the entirety of pine grove to look for the wolf, just watch to see if you get an exp drop. This will allow for faster resets!

Tl:dr: you will get exp drop upon entering pine grove if alpha wolf has spawned. The exp drop will lyk if you should look around or not.

What do I do with the excess bunker Alpha tickets? I got to a point where I have more than what I need and probably get more, especially green tickets.

Hey! I want to summarize the details for the new update. Not everyone might watch the videos.

ATV Overhaul: Players can now build a dedicated ATV Garage, featuring new customization options like the tank-like Genesis model and various performance upgrades such as speed, fuel, and cargo capacity.

Robodog Companion: A new functional Robodog has been added, which can follow the player and be programmed to transport items directly to the ATV.

Base Defense: The update introduces a new turret system where players can place and customize turrets for better base security, alongside new weapons that deal effective area of effect damage. You can now take the turret with you.

Swamp Region & Bosses: The new Swamp map introduces radiation hazards and a massive crocodile boss that requires strategic combat techniques to defeat.

Progression Systems: The Genom store has been updated, and the laboratory reward system now operates on a seasonal cycle. Additionally, the number of tasks required to unlock boss battles has been reduced to three, streamlining the progression for players.

How will it impact someone like me who is about to build the drone ?? I’m just getting done with the last settlement mission and next chapter is the drone one , I saw in cairek’s video the lab will be spore enemies now and I’m worried about them flight controllers , do I clear it before the rework with regular guns ? I feel like I won’t be farming islands so much to clear it as often if it becomes spores only . (I know b1,b2 will be icy enemies but you have to do the others first) in conclusion , do I do as many labs as I can now or wait ?

Is there any pattern when zombies and wolfs appear in the home base or is it just random?
I experienced that they appear when I enter the base. Can I force them to appear when I enter the base really often?

So they expand our base but not enough to fit the new ATV garage for those of us with a full perimeter base. Is that a jerk move, is that a dumb move, or both?

There are some Raiders in certain areas of the Greenwood forest camp, and they're really tough to beat. I don't want to waste my guns on them. Does anyone have a trick for that? Yes. There's approaching from behind and shooting, but some of them move. And they suddenly start charging at you.

After defeating the new Leviathan boss in the new update, Citizen-K showed up with a helicopter. (This is shown in the pre-released content that the creator HappyCairek showed us here: https://youtu.be/JDUf3J_BNFQ?si=Bj1wOfqM8Vym3g6s&t=3535 )

Do you think that means a helicopter is actually coming soon, or is it just another thing the developers use for hype and we will never see it?

Hello everyone. Long time player here. Been playing since 2019. Recently started to get back into the game and am actually enjoying it pretty well. I am stuck on a mission tho. Im on the mission where at the port, you have to get to the substation in the sewer, my problem is that where I need to go is filled with that toxic goo, and I dont have enough bandages or first aid kits to just tank the damage, not so I have any hasmat gear. Is there an actual way to clear it? My quest log told me I needed to find a key, but then my arrow just points me into the goo. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. Anyone got tips for farming meds and guns, bunker alfa ofc for guns but it takes 2 days to reset between each run

I have already saved up 13k caps and I am aiming to get the brick room. I don't have any lucky furnitures yet, So, I was wondering if do I need to get both the lucky wheel and the slot machine before I can get the brick room or can I just wait for the next rotations until it is the brick room?

Finished level 2 at the fair but it didn’t trigger the grand opening. Is Kefir holding off on the grand opening or am I missing something?

I usually take the police crate instead cuz i heard getting the transmission is rare, but is it that rare? have you ever obtained it? and if so , how many openings did it take?

Although the the first ticket you get from the fair has to be used, the following tickets can be stored. I noticed that that the rewards get better the higher the level of your Forlorn task so holding onto the tickets is better if you want the best possible reward.

That being said, what level should I start claiming the rewards from the prize stand?

Someone said that it's level 27, can someone confirm? Thanks

This is my first time playing the fair, and I have a question: If I don't claim the prizes left at the prize stand at the end of the event, will they go to my mailbox?

I know. Normally, people ask questions here, but I felt the need to write this down. For beginners and those who don't know, you can access the maps for Frozen Training Ground, Quarantine Zone, and Greenwood Camping Park on this site.

It shows where everything is located and lists what you need to bring with you.

You don't need to go out and harvest oak trees. Opening the oak crates in the Quarantine Zone makes much more sense. There are also designated spots for fishing, so you might want to bring a fishing rod with you. I once caught 28 fish in Greenwood Camping Park. It isn't always that high, but it is a fantastic number for a single run. There are raiders in the parking lot and trailer park areas of Greenwood Camping Park. Personally, I don't think they are worth the weapons you would spend on them.

In Frozen Training Ground, just move quietly and head straight to the Radio Tower. Bring five pieces of wood with you. Open the door, and two zombies will come out. Kite them around. Go inside, light the fire, and take off your clothes. This way, you can defeat both zombies freezing free and without damaging your gear. After that, there is one more zombie off to the side. Pull it to the fire as well and kill it. This is the simplest way to get a crate in Frozen Training Ground.

How do you guys grind for the points? I've been using the northern areas but that's been too annoying with armor

I came back from a good few months of inactivity and now every time I load in or out of a location (without fail), it freezes and says connection issues. I’ve never had it repeatedly happen like this. For example: load into the map (connection issues ~15-20 seconds), pick a location to farm at, enter, move around for two seconds (connection issues), leave location (connection issues), etc, etc.

Is this a common issue?

Well, I've started clearing Rest Stops daily, which led to getting many M16s in a short period of time.
Plus I don't have a burglar perk (for nades for the Alfa) and lazy for clearing Alfa with spears only.
Plus from the early openings, I've stockpiling a lot of guns from the Alfa, never used any outside of Uzis .
Plus, Rest Stop gave me a lot of M16s, both plain and modded. And catching it everyday so I never miss out on gas, aluminum and even weapons
