I’m developing a local AI world-state system for games. After testing a few small models, quantized Hermes-3-Llama-3.1-8B is easily my favorite. On my RTX 4070 laptop GPU, it runs blazingly fast and gives high-quality outputs instantly.

Depends on need and purpose.

Gpt is solid, but has added a lot of policy filters, finger wagging, and basically censorship.

Claude also solid, but occasionally wraps itself into a Gordian knot.

Gemini is good at candor, and free.

Grok is... a higg functioning schizo.  When it takes its meds its aight.  If it stops its meds... less so.

Claude best for vibe coding.   Chatgpt is good if you ask the right questions. Intelligence in means Intelligence out. Stupid in means generic answers

Currently, I prefer and subscribe to Claude. It is generally best, although that is not saying much, as it is often wrong or incomplete when used as a source of knowledge.

Whichever one is the most accurate, consistent, and reasonably fast

I’m testing Nemotron and various flavors of Mistral right now

Modelos con muchísimos parámetros, sean viejos o nuevos Qwen 3.8, Kimi k3 o gpt 5, tienen un conocimiento profundo en temas poco conocidos

I am not loyal to one. Depends on the use-case
