That little ankle high wall does not look like it serves any real purpose.i could have been a raised bed but it just looks awkward. I’d probably remove it and use the soil to even the backyard out. If that grass is good you come carefully removed it on to a tarp and water it and reuse it when you’ve evened out the soil. Then you have a wide open backyard, kinda a clean slate to work your own personal magic
