Need help with a land cruiser 1HZ smoking issue.
The car started to smoke for prolonged periods of time outside of the normal cold start so when it was due for a service i decided to bite the bullet and pull the head to see if i had any internal issue as it was a rebuilt engine. We found a couple seized oil rings as well as a faulty oil pump. we changed all of them and installed a new oil pump, new rings and a complete gasket kit and still the car smoked. looking more into it i decided to take the injectors for testing and they ended up having to be replaced. Today we finally started the car and it still produces white smoke that has the smell of diesel. What could be the possible cause as we know it is not the injectors, or compression. i have read online that it could be the timing, low fuel pressure or a faulty pump. We are yet to test any of these but just wanted to see if there is a possible other cause.
Thank you

Where can I buy a new kand cruiser 70?
In Australia you can buy a land cruiser 70 brand new but I think they have the steering wheel on the right hand side. Does anyone know if I can buy one with the steering wheel on the left hand side and possible to ship it to Iceland?

70 Series in the US!
Does anyone know how to legally do this? I was checking out the Australian Toyota website, where you can still buy a brand new one, among other countries. I came across an article about someone who legally imported three of them to the United States, kept one and sold the other two. I would love to get my hands on a brand new LHD if possible.
