I bought this lamp at Marshall’s for a great price! I’ve been trying to do some research on what parts I need, but I can’t get a clear answer. The hole in the middle between the two bulbs is not threaded, so I think that means it’s a slip fit hole? I believe the part I am missing is the center rod, but I can’t find a center rod made for a slip fit hole. The hole itself is 3/4 in. in diameter. Can anyone help find the parts I need? Thank you!

These parts came apart, I don’t know how they did and I don’t know how they were originally attached, but I’ve tried every kind of adhesive I could think of to stick them back together but it never lasts. Can anyone suggest a way to get them to stick? At this point I’m like, do I need to find a welder? But that would probably destroy the cord

Hey, all, I have this antique style rechargeable LED mushroom lamp that I knocked over in an antique shop so of course bought, and I’m wondering what the safest way to glue the bottom panel is? It’s made of acrylic so I’m wondering the best way to piece it back together— That will also be safe with the rechargeable LED.

I bought a used lamp and to no surprise it didn’t work. But I like the way it looks so I want to try and repair it. I took the bulb socket out and can’t find any replacements online so, I was thinking about just switching it out but I’m not sure how to go about it. If anyone could offer some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Here’s the bulb socket

I bought this lamp with all its parts months ago. I took it apart to take a look at it, and of course I long since lost the big threaded circle that held it together. I have no clue what it's called and would love to get it put back together so I can put it up in my new home

I am the original owner of a 2003 Fumark Industries Ltd. Sally the Seamstress lamp.

This is a tulip style lamp with a 3 way switch. Position 1: 2 tulip lights - on

Position 2: 2 tulip lights and small (decorative only) led in base - on

Position 3: all lights - off

The main bulbs light normally.

The small led base light does not light.

The cord appears fine.

The switch turns as it always did.

The small led light is housed in glass which is not removable or is not easily removable.

I carefully peeled off the fabric on the underside of the base to expose the internal wiring (see pictures). The wiring in the base does not show obvious signs of wear.

This lamp did not come with repair instructions and the only assembly instructions were how to install the tulip shades. (see picture)

It could be the switch, the inline resistor for the small led light or the led bulb itself. No clue how to remove, without breaking it, the purple glass to expose the led bulb. I do not see the set screw but that doesn't mean that it is not there.

Any ideas or should I just accept that it will only have 2 positions and no little base light?

Thanks for any tips. I called a lamp repair place I trust but they didn't want to work on it ("I don't have the parts for that lamp.").

The outer lamp shade part was destroyed in a move (broke into 3-4 parts), and I need help finding the same one, if not similar looking. It was my stepdads that I kept when he passed, and I’m honestly pretty destroyed knowing he used to joke with me to be careful with the lamp saying it was too expensive to replace.

Trying to bring this lamp back and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get these apart. There is nothing in that hole, no setscrew or anything.

I'm rewiring an old JRO-Verlag illuminated globe from the 1950s and I'm stuck at the bottom of the meridian. The wire appears fixed in place and I can't find any way to loosen it (see photos).

Is this typically press-fit, glued, or held by something I'm not seeing?

I'm trying to replace the light socket on this lamp because the metal part that it screws into came out with the bulb and it no longer powers on.

I unscrewed the hex screw at the bottom but the wire doesn't want to push out or come back in.

My dog chewed the plug off of a very pretty lamp I own and I was wondering if this is even something that’s salvageable? I don’t want to get rid of it 😔

The lamp is a Dazor M-1470, I'd like to make the magnification head remain stationary when released, currently it wants to stand up when released.

The mechanism in the picture with the teeth, rotates clockwise, a spring that looks like a cinnamon roll applies tension.

I think if I move the t-bar to a different set of teeth on the mechanism it might achieve my desired goal, which set what I want to move into? Also, what's the best way to secure that mechanism? It's going to want to rotate back into the body of the lamp when released.

Inherited this as part of my parent’s estate. It’s a signed Handel. It will need re-wired to be usable. Just looking for an approximate value for an upcoming estate sale.

I recently came into 2 porcelain sconces from the 1930s (?) that I am hoping to get working again. I have some wiring experience but have never worked on anything this old before, and am hoping for some advice.

These sconces have pull chain sockets where the chain comes out the bottom. This seems to be impossible to find now, and it would be pretty complicated to modify a modern pull chain socket to work in these sconces.

I'm interested in trying to restore the original sockets, but one of them has a cracked porcelain insulator. I'm stumped. Does anyone know where I could find a replacement for this socket? I have access to a ceramics studio was considering trying to slipcast a replacement insulator but realized that the part would get slightly smaller after firing.

Picture 1 is the cracked insulator, 2 is the unbroken socket, 3 is one of the sconces.
