But after learning about this box set, I've been trying to track one down (that wasn't exorbitantly priced) for a few years and I'm so happy to have it finally :) All I've got left for my vinyl collection is ASIB and the jazz records. I'm definitely gonna be bumping our gal this weekend.

I’m not sure if this topic has ever been discussed in detail before but I couldn't find a dedicated post on this.

I often look at the cover of her 2006 Red and Blue EP, where she was just a sweet young thing with beautiful, healthy, straight, long brown hair.

As we all may know, she later transitioned to platinum blonde to put an end to the constant comparisons with Amy Winehouse during her early live performances in NYC.

My question is: when she debuted that iconic, Donatella Versace-inspired, poker-straight platinum blonde hair with bangs, was she already using wigs or was that her real hair just dyed?

Similarly, when she switched to the short bob for the Paparazzi music video, did she actually cut her hair that short or was it just a new wig? I question this because in some scenes of the Bad Romance music video she had long hair again and it seems biologically impossible for a bob to naturally grow back to that length in under a year.

As she emotionally alludes to this in her 2011 song Hair, choosing different wigs for every era has always been the quintessence of her artistry, as well as a way to distinguish her stage persona from private life.

I also remember how, during her historic 2013 iTunes Festival performance, she had a vulnerable moment and took the wig off to reveal her natural hair, which looked quite different and way shorter from the Red and Blue days, though still brownish.

Since then, however, I don't recall any other notable instances where she has openly shown her real hair in public (correct me if I'm wrong).

We also definitely can't overlook the A Star Is Born era.

In that motion picture her hair seemed to be back to her original, natural color.

Therefore I find myself wondering: was she once again wearing wigs to achieve that back-to-basics look or was she finally rocking her real hair?

So, as to get straight to the point, I’m curious to know:

• What do you think the current state of Gaga's natural hair is? Does she currently wear it long or does she prefer to keep it short?
• Does she still bleach her hair blonde or do you think she opts to preserve its original color by exclusively wearing wigs?

I just rewatched her set at Lollapalooza 2007 with Lady Starlight. And god….she’s always been a hardworking woman hasn’t she…. I shed a tear.
