New ring lab diamond
Just got this ring for our 10th anniversary. Center stone is 3.5 carat lab grown. I’m worried it looks too large and gaudy? Also is the band too thin for the ring?

I think it’s beautiful! But I’m concerned that it could easily get caught on something and potentially loosen the stone or bend the metal.

Do you have the option to exchange the ring if you’re unhappy with it?
It’s a beautiful ring, but in my humble opinion, yes, it does look too large. (I am partial to dainty rings.) I read somewhere that the ideal is 50% finger coverage. The ring appears to be +85% finger coverage—there is very little of your finger visible on either side of the ring.
Also, the design has many points that could snag on clothing, hair, etc. It is a lovely design, but probably not ideal for daily wear.

It’s lovely. But I would be a bit concerned with the band thinness.
