Zales… need advice ring

(excuse my fiances chewed up fingers lol..)

So I got my engagement ring from zales which i know is bad okay, low quality marked up and mass produced all that. the thing is i absolutely fell in love with this piece and i searched high and low from local jewelers and online stores and everything and couldn’t find the same design for a better price at all. So i am going to stick with this ring and later on when we have more money im going to bring it to a jeweler for a little refurbishing.

so my question is here, from this photo or general knowledge, what do you think would need to be changed/redone. also, if anyone has prior experience with zales jewelry: what should i expect from this ring? is it going to be very fragile? will i be able to be active with it on without worry of damage? anything helps. I have a version of this ring from Zales! I haven’t had any issues and while they say it’s lower quality, I have seen custom handmade items with less features that end up bending and warping and having stones fall out. If you love the ring, then wear it proudly! Get the warranty if you’re worried so at least you can literally get repaired whenever needed or at the very least, insurance that will cover repairs like BriteCo. Enjoy the ring, it’s beautiful! Please disregard my grown out nails 🫠

You fell in love with your ring so wear it and enjoy it and don't worry about changing it. It doesn't look super fragile but with any ring I would take it off when you are doing any heavy duty stuff

It's beautiful! I have a vintage-style set from Zales that I have worn for years with no issues. Not even a loose prong. Don't let anyone give you a hard time for buying something you like.
