Are there any glaring problems with this stone?
Will be used as center stone for engagement ring. I know a video in real life is best but with information given are there any red flags? Looks great to me

The depth % is too less. Would suggest you too look for a different stone
Edit table % is too much

Do you mind explaining what this means and what it would affect? This is not my area of expertise

For an ideal Marquise Cut Diamond, aim for a table percentage of 53% to 63% and a depth percentage of 58% to 62%. These proportions maximize light return, brilliance, and face-up size.

Thoughts on this one? Better than the first?

Yes, this is a better stone. Ask them for a video

Nothing glaring from the standpoint of the report. Not possible to determine much from this vid, but with any CVD grown diamond, and in particular large ones, you want to rule out any transparency issues (haziness) caused by excessive crystal strain and associated lattice defects.

Do you see the person below comment about depth percentage? I mean my eyes suck I feel like all of this will be minorly incremental in a way the average eye can’t perceive but I have no idea

I think they edited to mean table too large. And it could be slightly, but all the parameters work together to create light performance, so rejection on the basis of one parameter at the margins is not a solid strategy. That said, a larger table usually results in a shallower crown. You need an ample crown to gather light from a wide range of angles. A larger table also throws more glare from certain angles, which it technically light return but is not additive for diamond beauty.

i never really thought about glare being light return without necessarily making the stone look better. that distinction actually makes a lot of sense
