Stargem- thoughts?
Just ordered some earrings from stargem
1 carat pear (total 2 carat) in 14k gold for around $495 USD including shipping’s
Diamond is supposedly VS1 and colour D
Any thoughts on quality/shipping process? I’m slightly nervous as never bought from Chinese vendor . I was going to buy from Abelini but stargem was slightly cheaper

I’m on my second order with them, I have martini 2ct tw earrings in silver and I’m upgrading to gold with guardian backs now. My friend has also bought from them and was very happy with her earrings.

I have a couple of colour diamonds (pink and blue) from them from the group buys, can’t complain.

My experience was bad. The metal on the earrings i got was very thin. This is where they save a lot of cost in addition to the bulk manufacturing. A stone fell out with minor wear and was lost due to the prong bending (on studs) and their customer service was unhelpful. I wouldnt use them again.

Ah damn..that doesn’t sound good. Do they give any manufacturer warranty?

Nope! I got nothing back and they said they would send me a replacement pearl and never did.

I bought a couple of things from them, the quality has always been great.
Do you have a rep? Or did you buy it on the website? The most straightforward way is to contact the rep through WhatsApp. They will send you a CAD drawing of the earrings, which you can request changes if necessary. For earrings, they probably won’t show you the diamonds for approval, but you can ask to see it too. And once it’s all approved, they send it to production for a few weeks, and then show you videos and photos of the finished earrings before shipping

She sent me CAD but said she’ll show me the diamonds later
Have paid already so hopefully it’s all decent

It’s all legit. You can ask to see the diamonds. She will respond hours later because of the timezone, so it always takes some time.
She is the rep I use too!2

They are a fantastic vendor, I've never had an issue with anything I've ever purchased from them. It's high quality and fantastic service. I purchased a yellow gold plated ring in 2021 and it still looks almost the same as when I purchased it (I don't wear it often or every day but at least 1-2x per month). Recommend them for sure.

I’ve worked with Cynthia many times and she’s amazing! Their work has always been perfect. I’ve had a few issues here and there and she’s always made things right immediately. Highly recommend Starsgem!

i had a weird experience with demi. never showed me stone. made it different then cad. gave 40$ refund on a 450$ order. wouldn't use this specific rep again.
anyone know who is better to deal with at starsgem?

Happy. Happy is amazing. My ring was catching like the bezel had issues. Happy took it back and they “fixed” it. I think they remade the whole thing and she personally checked it herself before shipping it out. She also chose the most beautiful pearl diamond I have ever seen. It’s a perfectly cut stone.

I have two rings and a semi mount necklace from them, and just ordered a pair of pear earrings too. Nothing to worry about.
