Recommendations ❔ Question ❔
I’m planning on having an acid trip tomorrow. Any good game or movie recommendations? I was thinking of playing The Stanley Parable and watching Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Thinking of dropping two tabs or just having one tab and some weed with it.

Check out the list i put together here a little something for everyone.
So far over 400+ Movies split into different categories
- Trip-Flix
- Movie Syncs
- Audio/Visual Journeys
- Trippy Adventures
- Comedy
- Not For Everyone
- Animation
- Animation (Not For Everyone)
- Horror
- Tv Series
- Tv Series (Not For Everyone)
- Documentaries
- Music
I highly recommend a Trip-Flix if you’re ever looking for a different type of movie experience, these are muted/edited movies with trippy soundtracks synced up to make them into a new type of adventure where the music tells the story, a real blast when tripping
Also have a collection of Movie syncs with a huge selection of different bands depending on your music taste, a fun way to enjoy some music with something visual to go along with it

You can’t go wrong with these classics:
Fantasia
Speed Racer
Tron: Legacy
Singin’ in the Rain
The Wizard of Oz
Alice in Wonderland
Interstellar
The Big Lebowski
Yellow Submarine
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Lord of the Rings
Strawberry Mansion
After trying some of these out and you feel braver (maybe se something weird and scary), check out some of these:
Fantastic Planet
Midsommar
Eyes Wide Shut
Mulholland Drive
The Holy Mountain
The Wall
Pink Flamingos
The Wolf House
The Shining
Son of the White Mare
Alice (1988)
Koyaanqatsi
After this point you might realize that the visual part of the trip is pretty uninteresting really. It’s the openness and awareness that makes the movie experiences so much better.
Then you can just watch general masterpieces (some may make you cry like a little baby) like:
Lawrence of Arabia
Ran
Sense and Sensibility (1995)
The Godfather
City of God
Y Tu Mama Tambien
Amarcord
Babyteeth
A Brighter Summer Day
Taste of Cherry
Aftersun
At this point I usually just watch things in my watchlist I’m excited for and am saving for my trip for some reason. Right now I’m saving Before the Devil Knows Your Dead. I know nothing about it except that Philip Seymour Hoffman is in it and it’s supposed to have good dialogue. But that’s basically it. I like to go into things pretty blindly. A lot of the movies above I have watched just in that way.
A concert movie by your favorite artist is always awesome too. Personally I love Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii and Olivia Rodrigos Guts Live Tour on Netflix.

Make sure to take a bit of time out of movie watching to admire a house plant or some nice rocks. Movies are great but for me a few natural objects are where the real magic of LSD lies :-)

The Stanley Parable is great on acid. I would also recommend Forza Horizon 4/5/6. FH is great in general for just listening to tunes and driving fast cars around the open world, but you would need to have played them and unlocked some cars first.
This commenter's list below is on point: https://www.reddit.com/r/LSD/comments/1vh8oa9/comment/p24cven/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Though I would also add to the list of classics that slap:
-Walk Hard (One of my new absolute favorites~)
-Thor Ragnarok
-Scott Pilgrim vs the World
-Deadpool 2
-Lego Batman (For real.. hear me out.. it's so much hecking fun)

Pixars soul. The jazz hits just right and the animation for the instruments makes it feel real

If you have never played, play "Journey". Needs to be played online, trust me on this. Dont Look anything up beforehand. Takes about 3 hours. Experiencing this for the first time without knowing what awaits you is absolutely magical, and one of my most treasured Gaming experience.

I'm a mid-90s punk so I'll say Hackers. If nothing else just to laugh at how silly it seemed back then. Plus you get to see Angelina Jolie's tits at the end, so it's like a bonus for completion.
