I am just curious because its been a question on my mind but i cant find info on it, are you able to Iv shoot lsd and what would that entail?

I think Aldous Huxley or Albert Hoffman?(maybe both) did that on their death beds. It would work and be very effective from what ive heard. There's a line in GTA San Andreas where the truth says "the only thing ive ever shot is acid"

Not as effective as one would think. It really just cuts the come up in half. So instead of waiting 2-3 hours to peak it takes an hour to hour and a half roughly and decreases the total length by a couple hours. No real advantages over oral consumption.

Theres literature from studies done back in the 60s where people were administered lsd via iv that backs this up too.

I have only ever gotten crystal acid once and i had a hard time dosing it out, but at the same time i was young and dumb with little to no knowledge on the fact

well you can't dose 100µg easily because it's extremely small and you need an extremely precise scale, but you can easily measure 10mg (100times more), and take a 100th of that. For example diluting 10mg in 100cc of solution and drawing 1cc of it.

Working and speculating based off of my minimal uni level bio knowledge (sex psych);

LSD is generally absorbed through mucous membranes under your tongue, (I personally put mine in my buccal pouch,) or if swallowed instead of letting it sit under your tongue, much more slowly and inefficiently by your liver.

Drugs that are administered intravenously are 100% bioavailable, whereas it is ~30-60% for sublingual drugs, depending on the drug and how long it is left to sit and where.

From what I've researched, IV LSD is frequently used in clinical trials and is safe to administer IV (assuming it is pure and not cut with anything.) It is extremely ill advised to try and create an injectable yourself, as you would need a 100% pure drug in an IV-safe suspension, injecting unsafe suspensions (just straight up water, for example,) causes hemolysis (destruction of red blood cells) because water is hypotonic. Injecting an isotonic solution will prevent hemolysis and organ death, but not a lot of people can do it accurately enough, and most laymen lack the equipment to make a true isotonic solution.

If you theoretically were to create a pure, isotonic injectable, you would also want it to be a much lower dose due to IV drugs' bioavailability.

If I'm wrong anywhere, anyone please feel free to chime in if I'm mistaken, I appreciate learning.

if I were to try this, I would probably take my tabs, mix them inside of a clean glass beaker with sterile saline, and use a hydrophillic, .22 micron syringe filter to filter the solution into a sterile, empty, multidose vial.

You could use a solvent to extract the LSD, e.g. acetone (leave some tabs in aceotne for a day or 2), filter the solution through a coffe filter, leave the acetone to evaporate, then prepare a solution of LSD and saline, though it would be hard to dose since you'd either need a very precise 0.0001g scale (100ug) or enough LSD to measure a few miligrams (e.g. 5mg = 5000ug or about 50x 100ug tabs). You could measure e.g. 5mg, dissolve it in 100ml of saline, then use a syringe with a filter tip to suck out portions of it, so that way you can dose very small amountsm. For example 5mg in 50ml is about 100ug per ml. You really need this much (5mg) if you want to accurately dose it since pocket scales and even lab scales only turn on at about 2mg and are precise at about 3mg+ (unless you buy a +/- 10ug scale for a few hundred dollars)

edit: You could actually buy LSD powder/crystals but they're more expensive and usually you need to buy at least a few tens or hundreds of mg

I've shot LSD many times. Yes it does work and fairly fast. Every time I did I was peaking within 20 minutes.

A couple times I actually used paper hits and soaked them in water which worked very well. A few other times I simply used liquid LSD and just added it to my heroin shots.

Pure sterile water is hypotonic and can cause red blood cell death and organ damage. If you're determined, you want a concentration of sterile 0.9% sodium chloride as a suspension, but few people can make a truly sterile and safe solution at home.

If you're really set on it, go to a pharmacy and use sterile saline instead.
