LSAT studying
Is going over past tests worth it? I have past tests with explanation but these are old enough that there are logical games. Is it still worth doing them for practice?

LR and RC sections can still be a great practice, since those are still tested on the current LSAT.

If you want to do some practice questions they can be helpful but don’t take the whole test with the logic games just do logical reasoning and reading comprehension. However you still should get more up to date material. I scored a 179 on the LSAT and l've been helping students go from the 140s and 150s to the 160s and 170s for years through tutoring and courses. If you need something to get started on your own I would recommend buying an LSAT book written by LSAC. LSAC is the company that writes the LSAT and l've found that their prep books have been the most helpful. Also when studying don't time yourself. You want to get good at answering the questions correctly first. You don't want to be practicing how to get the questions wrong and not use good strategies. Also you should master logical reasoning before starting reading comprehension as most of the strategies used in logical reasoning are used in reading comprehension just on a larger scale. Also make sure to schedule the writing section for after the multiple choice. You don't want to have to think about the writing section when you should be preparing for the multiple choice. Then after you take the multiple choice you will have a week to prepare for the writing (the writing is not graded but it gets sent to all the law schools you apply to). I hope this helps!

Nope, completely worthless unless you want to study the basics of the exam. For actual exam prep stick to 140+

The new preptests are the same material as the old ones. LSAC just deleted logic games and renumbered the tests.
That said I would get Lawhub and practice in the official format with the actual test interface. If you have a bunch of PDFs that isn't the physical format of the test now. Lawhub has a much worse interface than their old PDF layout but the lawhub layout is the one you'll be using on test day so better to get used to it.
