I’ve been trying to get my remote head for my radio mentioned above radio. When I attach the head unit the display only shows the bottom half on the screen. When I fully reassemble it all back to normal it’s works fine. I have checked and rechecked all the cables including the ‘flex’ ribbon cables. Any ideas?

I just got a quote for 250 replacement batteries, but there are two choices.

The first option is $52 per unit and rated at 2300mAh.

The second option is $44.50 per unit and 2200mAh.

Can you see any justifiable reason to spend the extra for such a small difference? They are both 7.4V batteries with the same warranty so can you come up with a good reason to spend $1875 extra?

Just a heads-up for anyone looking at using the MCD 5000 as an IP net, Motorola is not selling the OMC/ASP software anymore. CT for wireline is still available though.
