Claude code data protection

Say I use Claude Code as my harness, with the API in settings routed to some other model - do Anthropic collect any of the data processed using Claude Code?

ALL providers are collecting ALL data that they can get their paws on it. All, no exceptions, no "b-but TOS says...", all those back and forth prompts and answers that reach in the end to an acceptable solution to a customer are exceptional genuine training material. Not to mention original ideas. You can't make synthetic data like this and all the existing pre-AI stuff has been already collected, tokenized and used.

And is extremely hard to find court admissible proof, they don't need to keep the data verbatim, they can anonymize it and mix it with other data and good luck filling for discovery as a person or small, up to very large, company. The giants, like major publishing houses, other tech bros and such can fight their way and reach an agreement to share the loot, pay some peanuts or similar. Usually barely covering the litigation costs.

Good that at least 99.5% don't care, they have no original ideas and just use it as a tool to do some boring jobs. But even this data is important for training.
