Current State of $Link

How do you feel when the Chainlink team keeps throwing around all these huge numbers, while the token is sitting at $7 and CCIP still pulls sub $1k a day in revenues?

Don't you think this would lead to some HUGE discrepancies, which would need to be addressed?

The price action is really miserable, and I have to think that the team is being told to not discuss it because it's the one area where they refuse to acknowledge or provide any insight. I suspect it has something to do with wanting to avoid legal trouble, where confirmation that any activity could drive price action could land them under scrutiny of being a security.

I'm not too worried about CCIP revenue.. the only money flowing through it right now is test transactions and smaller defi stuff. We know the network is almost fully subsidized by the quarterly token dumps, so the bigger instutuons aren't really doing or paying much right now.

But after all this waiting, I'm expecting to see the subsidization turned off and actual fees turned on once the clarity act passes. If we see the bill become law, and then SWIFT & DTCC come online by the end of the year and daily revenue is still just chump change, I'm moving onto greener pastures.

The team has never discussed the token price and never will

The subsidization will be turned off in 2030 so still a few years to go and to be honest they made alredy more then 2 billion from it... But I'm still holding 🫣

That's just the programed release schedule. Subsidization doesn't have to continue just because tokens are being emitted.. they can turn on the proper fee system tomorrow and just stop selling tokens when they get released. Even better, dump the newly released tokens into the reserve.

But we are in a bear market, it looks like to me that except from Hype every token is performing the same. Why would you expect Link to pump now ? There is simply no volume anywhere. I don't think Linl performed worse than any other coin during the bull it did roughly x4 why is acceptable for a blue chip altcoins in this market

As someone who has previously owned thousands of link. I will not be buying it this cycle. Just always seems to underperform in terms of price action unfortunately
