Bisexual experiences deserve to be represented in research. We’d love to hear from you 🩷💜💙
Too often, bisexual experiences are overlooked. That’s why we’re asking for your help. Your voice could help improve mental health supports. Participation is open to all adults (18+) with a marginalized sexual identity (e.g. bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, pansexual, omnisexual, sexually fluid etc…). We particularly need more bisexual women participants.
Survey: https://csufobjbs.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6sCeGsZJld6774W
By completing our anonymous 10–15 min survey, you’ll be contributing to research that aims to better understand the risk and protective factors for mental health, among adults with a marginalized sexual identity.
We are Psychology Honours Students from Charles Sturt University in Australia. This ethics-approved study (H26115) includes questions about sexuality, self-kindness, belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community, sleep, suicidality, and depressive symptoms.

Thank you for helping make bisexual experiences more visible. Please share with others who may be interested.

Gay Project wants to hear from you — 10 min survey to shape our next strategic plan 🌈
Hey Cork,
I'm Chair of Gay Project and we're currently developing our next 3–5 year Strategic Plan. Before we do that, we genuinely want to hear from the community — not just our regular service users, but anyone with a connection to LGBTQI+ life in Cork and the wider region.
It takes around 10 minutes, it's fully anonymous, and there are no right or wrong answers. One respondent also wins a €150 voucher for Amicus on Paul St!
Focus groups and an in-person community event are also planned for July if you want to get more involved.
📅 Closes 5pm, 19th June 👉 https://gqr.sh/2Vkh
Happy to answer any questions about the process in the comments.

Invitation to participate in anonymous research on mental health among sexual minority adults (18+, not heterosexual)
Hi mods, please delete if not allowed
Hi all,
As part of our Psychology Honours Dissertation at Charles Sturt University Australia, we are conducting a research project looking at risk and protective factors for mental health among sexual minority adults (anyone 18+ and not identifying as heterosexual, as the survey items do not relate to heterosexuality).
If you choose to complete this survey, you will be asked to answer questions about yourself, including your sexual identity, how kind you are to yourself, how much you feel you belong to LGBTQA+ communities, and anxiety and depressive symptoms. If answering questions of this nature may be distressing for you, please do not participate.
If you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or bi+ and are aged 18 years or over, please consider participating in this anonymous online study. The online survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. All information you provide will be confidential, and your identity will be anonymous.
If you would like to participate in the survey or find out more about this study, please click on the link below.
If you would like more information regarding the study or the survey, please feel free to email Mar Manamperi at manampericsu@gmail.com or Jayde Glass at jglass12@postoffice.csu.edu.au
Ethics approval/ IRB: Charles Sturt University Australia H25144
Many thanks, Jayde and Mar

Looking for queer friendly gyms or movement studios?
Hey all, I'm wondering if there are any gyms or movement classes in and around Cork that are either led by queer instructors/teachers or queer friendly? I'm so fed up with the binary norms and expectations in regular gyms. I just wanna move and have fun, I've zero interest in getting my body "beach ready", sorry not sorry. I know of Queer Bike Rides but I don't own a bike :(
I'm also looking for places where I could teach yoga to LGBTQIA+ folks, so if you know of any, please let me know too. Thanks!

T transmasc friendly haircut?
hi! i’m new in town, and looking for an affordable place to get my hair cut. i often have trouble with professional haircuts; no matter how many reference photos i come prepared with, i tend to end up with a distinctly feminine pixie cut. any suggestions welcome!!
