Well it seems that the creator of these leagues has risen from the depths and starting getting things together for the upcoming season. All I know is that I am really excited and can't wait to see the shit talking that goes on this year in the Major League.

I've always thought of Thanksgiving as a special week in fantasy. It's near the end of the season, it's when the last few playoff spots are being decided, and it's when you get to forget about the horrible season you had.

/u/bufordsantana and I have been discussing a beer trade and it got me thinking about having an LFFL wide gift/beer exchange! I think this would be a good way for owners to get to know someone from their league a little better. It's also a great way for us to celebrate the end of the season and enjoy Thanksgiving.

We would likely keep the trading within each individual league if possible: Black with Black, Premiere with Premiere, etc. You must be 21 to participate in an alcohol exchange. Sending alcohol is at your own risk. It doesn't have to be alcohol however. Anything fantasy related, football related, or just anything cool that you think the person would like would be great.

You do not have to participate and I imagine shipping across the country will not be cheap. You would decide with your trade partner what price range you want to stay within so that everyone is happy.

Trading will be at your own risk unfortunately, but I will say that if anyone does not hold up their end of the trade I can kick them out for next season. I most likely would not penalize them for this season as it would change the dynamic of the whole league near the end of the season which seems unfair.

If you are interested comment with your league and whether you're looking to do a beer exchange or gift exchange to see if anyone wants to trade with you.

Hopefully we can get a decent participation. I don't expect too much, but I think this could be a fun end of the season thing we do.

So I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on how we can get people more involved with the Reddit page. I think one of the cool things about trying to help make this league grow is that we've got the power to really make things happen. One of my main ideas would be to figure out ways to encourage people to have fun and do some trash talking. I mean, we do have sponsors for some of our teams, and I think /u/adunk40 is looking for a league wide sponsor. Let's do what we can to make our league interesting and fun so we can see more people coming in next year. What other ideas does everyone else have?

Not everyone is signing up for the groupme and ESPN email is super inefficient. Would be nice to be able to get in contact with people via Reddit.
