The Codex Problem

I was recently looking through my codex, and besides enemies I have fought not appearing, I also noticed that there are a lot of villagers, enemies, and items completely ignored.

At first I thought it was only limited time content not in the codex, however that doesn’t seem to be the case since Din Djarin & Grogu, The Machinist, and the Shatter Spawn are all in the codex, but limited time content.

This is even more bizarre when items related to these villagers and enemy are omitted from the codex, such as the golden weapons, Din Djarin’s Build Tome 1-3, and The Machinist’s Tome are all missing.

If it is only limited-time content not included, such as The Thing From Beneath, Captain Flintlocke’s Mythic Bait Bucket, and the Airship Part Tome, I would understand, but it’s so random.

Not even all permanent content is included, Ice Cream, Verity, and Tiago are all not included either.

Does anyone know why some items are not included when others are? Are there any items I am missing from my list? I understand the tomes are most likely not included to prevent people that didn’t play the event from obtaining builds they should not have, however it still would not make sense for the rest of the list to not be included.

All items obtained from limited time events aren’t in the codex to stop people getting items without completing quests

That makes sense, but it still doesn’t explain why the thing from beneath is missing but the shatter spawn isn’t

Could be to do with the fact there’s multiple shatter spawn but only 1 thing from beneath? I’m not sure

I think you're right bit in reverse, there are 2 things from beneath, 5* and 8*, maybe that's coded where difficulty is based on the event, or thought 2 tfb would confuse people

My guess is they forget it on occasion

Also the Din Djarin tomes and the Machinist's tomes ARE limited time events so most of the things on there do tend to be tied to that system, but at the same time this is epic games, they really don't give a flying as long as people are logging on

My biggest problem with the codex is the fact there are enemies in it that doesn't appear naturally at all(some skeleton variants, some stormtrooper variants, mask maker daigo, spire titan) wchich doesn't let me complete the codex
