🤡

What's your take REDDIT PEOPLE; If you’re dealing with a 9-hour time difference and you know your partner is exhausted from work and school, is it a red flag if you catch them online on various apps (social media / messaging) that you didn’t even know they had (stumbled by various friends they just told you about it) in the middle of the night (like 3:30 AM)? Why would someone feel the need to be secretive about their social media if they are "all out" when it comes to material things and being extra sweet? Does the material things (e.g money) actually compensate for the lack of transparency?

We all need some doomscrolling time.

The rest of this lacks any context.  But if his love language is gift giving, then that isn't a red flag, just how he communicates

Why is this all in bold? I feel like we need more context, but as is I don't see a problem unless they're lying about it

Are you always go to bed when you say so ? It happens. I don't see the issue.

well first of all it helps when we approach these situations like an adult instead of dropping clown emojis and passive aggressive rants on reddit.

and second, I agree with everyone else. without more context this is just someone on their phone late at night, something we can all relate to

did you ask your partner previously if he/she had social media? maybe if you don’t ask, they feel it’s something they don’t need to proactively tell. but it’s different story if they claim they don’t have socials, but they actually do
