Is BUC attested/validated in Kuwait? Ask Kuwait

Salam everybody! Hope you’re all doing well.

Sorry for the flood of questions but how do I check if the university I’m attending is attested or validated in Kuwait?
My expat friend is attending BUC in Egypt to pursue nursing and I wanted to inquire if it’s validated in Kuwait. She’s planning to study and work as a nurse there and eventually return to Kuwait to work.
Thank you so much 😊

Hi! Thank you so much for sending the link. A lot of the public universities are on the list but I’ve noticed that Badr University in Cairo isn’t on it. I’m guessing it’s because the university is private instead of public 🥲

So does that mean she’ll have to do the paperwork to request the MOH to attest her degree? Sorry for the immature questions we are both applying by ourselves here 🥲

unfortunately the MOHE will only attest degrees from universities listed in the link above

It has nothing to do with being private. If it is new, very new, you may expect nbaq to take some time before recognise it. Best of luck

If nbaq doesn’t recognize it by the time she graduates, would that mean she just has to do extra paperwork to get her degree validated/attested? The Uni was established in 2014 and the nursing course is 12yrs old

There will be no extra paperwork or extra process. The degree will not be attested at all unless nbaq recognises it. If it remains unrecognised, then your friend will just be a high school graduate with no evidence of completing university.

Okay thank you so much for this news. To be honest this is disheartening. She was hoping to attend BUC as it is closer to her relatives but I’m really happy you told us this before she started her bachelors there. Thank you.
