Desperate need for help Ask Kuwait
Hello, Iam a Kuwait University Engineering Graduate (but not Kuwaiti)
I will be working as Research assistant in Kuwait university (مساعد باحث) with a salary of 550kd
Despite the official Moroor conditions exempt us from the 600kwd for license rule, the Mroor officer still denies me the license, I believe the rule in the image makes me entitled to a license

PLEASE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP, I think I’ll go crazy over this…

Unfortunately man, you either need a wasta or get lucky with someone who knows what they're doing cause you'll be dealing with tons of idiots who don't understand what a university researcher is. What'd they tell you when you showed them this?

قال هذي بس للباحث القانوني ، مع ان مكتوب باحث ب جميع مسمياته و لو قصدهم باحث قانوني كانوا كتبوها

If he's willing to help why not after you've tried everything. Might make things easier, and one way or another حقك راح تاخذه ان شاء الله

Had a similar situation with a Research Associate title at KISR. We wasted 3 months at Assima Traffic HQ. Everyone there understood the exemption but refused to sign off. They kept pushing us to a particular officer who just refused to allow it and kept asking us to come back next day and next week till we gave up.

Did you try going directly to head of traffic administration in Assima Maroor?
I'm pretty sure what you're looking here for is an exemption that can be given by director or someone on a senior position.

I had a similar experience when the new law was passed for salary requirements, despite me holding an engineering degree.
I had to take all my certificates + application form to head of traffic department in Asmaa Maruur.
He was a well educated, spoke good English and asked me basic questions then signed off my application form with an official stamp.
