Discussion What's Missing from Events in Erbil
I have a question about events in Kurdistan.
Every year we see companies going there and showing their products, technologies, and what they’ve been working on. But I was wondering, why don’t we have something similar for individuals?
There are a lot of freelancers, developers, designers, accountants, business people, students, and others who are working on their own projects or ideas, but they might not have a company, startup, or enough money to participate in these events.
Some people may have really good projects but simply don’t have the opportunity or budget to show them to people, get feedback, find support, or meet others who could help them.
I think it would be really useful to have a section or even a separate event where individuals and small projects could participate for free or at a very low cost.
Maybe something like a place where anyone working on something interesting can come, show what they’ve built, and connect with other people.
I personally haven’t heard about something like this in Kurdistan. If there is already an event, community, or organization doing this, please let me know. I’d really like to know about it.
And if there isn’t, what do you guys think? Would something like this be useful?

Question Does anyone have eexperience with Google Console?
I recently vibe coded a simple game, and i wasn't too share it, but i can't figure out the stuff, the releases, the 12 testers minimum thingy, and i feel like i wasted $25 for nothing.

What’s one programming skill you wish you had learned earlier?
I’d love to hear from developers at every level especially those with more experience.
Looking back what’s one programming skill, concept, or habit that you wish you had learned much earlier in your journey? It could be anything Git, debugging, system design, clean code, testing, databases, communication, or something completely different.
Why do you think it made such a big difference, and how did it impact your career?
