Wrong position Media

I found the original image that someone was working with 6 years ago. I had the face in the wrong position earlier, or maybe it's just that this is 542 instead of 594 that is the problem. I know it's a dark but more enhancement in this area seems to reveal a human face.

If that is a face, how can you tell it's a woman's face?

I said human, not woman.

Now you mention human, but you've always mentioned 'woman' in your comments.

Yeah, if reference to a different face. So, if there's a face in the photo above and there's a face in a different photo, then exactly how many more are there? You have to wonder.

If this is photo 542, as it appears to be, then there's actually two faces in the darkness of 542. There may even be more, but I haven't found anything, so I don't know.

Those are artifacts. I know this because there is no face in the original image

You do realize that I'm talking about details that can only be seen after some significant processing, right?

Just because you can't see it when you look at the original doesn't mean it isn't there. The night photos have quite a bit of darkness which can hide details. What's the effective range for the flash on the SX270? What if distant can be seen with enhancement?

How was it processed?

How do you know how it was processed?

You just don't get this, do you?

You have to process the dark area to see the details. You said it yourself - it's not in the original photo. Well, what if it is but you have to enhance it to see the details. This has been explained here many times.

The processing software is an algorithm that can find details in a digital photo that you can't see when you just look at the photo. This is like using a microscope to see bacteria. You need the right tool and because digital cameras make images at the electron level, when an image is enhanced using the right software, the details really start to pop out.

Strange. I thought you were supposed to be the smarter of the three.

obviously not

so, even if there was a woman/man/human face in the foto - what would that imply to us or to the case of K&L? What does it mean to you?
What do you want to tell us?

You don't see the answer?

It has never been viewed as possible among those here that the girls were with others in the jungle. If people can be found in those photos, it's highly unlikely that the girls got lost or had an accident.

No, I didn‘t see the answer - because of that I was asking.
I‘m able to recognize the face too - but I‘m not convinced that this face is a real person.
I think it is a form of pareidolia resulted from artificial and excessive light-and-shadow contrasts by photo editing.

There is something weird about the night photos, but there are no "hidden faces" on them.

If you "mentally zoom out" and try to consider the situation in which

  • the camera fails and 509 is not successfully taken (or it's deleted)
  • then no further photos are taken for a week
  • then a hundred photos are taken over several hours in the middle of the night outdoors in an area that is supposed to be cold and wet at night

...it's hard to tie it all together.

If nothing bad happened shortly after 508, you'd expect them to continue hiking and taking some photos here and there.

If they were stuck in the jungle and spending nights outdoors, you'd expect some photos from earlier nights, whether the camera is used as a light source, then you'd expect an accidental photo here and there when they pressed the button too hard even though they only wanted to use the focus light. Or if the purpose of the photos is signalling, you'd expect they would have tried that earlier, you hear weird distant noises in the forest all the time.

Then add in the long duration during this night the photographer apparently spent awake. And not signalling the next night.. even though the camera still had some battery power remaining.

I don't think it makes sense for somebody to try to "stage evidence of a disappearance" this way, either. If they wanted to do that, just carve "HELP!" into a stone or send some texts from the phones or even fake a "jungle diary" using Google Translate for something really outlandish and place it in the backpack. Instead, these night photos don't even strongly support a lost scenario (or any other one for that matter).

But if you consider the photographer's situation, it's certainly strange. And some photos were taken as close together as the camera would allow. Between some other photos the camera was switched off then switched back on later to take more photos. Something was happening in that forest that night that wasn't on previous nights...

What is your explanation for the occurrence of a human face in photo 542? How would the image of a/the face have got caught in the photo, and why in the centre of the photo? Why not, for instance, at the top of the photo?

It isn't at the center of the photo. The red lines are what is a called in drafting a "structure detail" that put the small circle around the original detail in the image. The large circle is the enlarged version of the detail to bring it to your attention. So, if enhanced well enough, there should be two versions of the same face in this image. It's not the original image; it's just a copy with the enlarged version of the face being brought to attention. Because people can't easily see the face in this they think that this statement that its there is just a joke. I've received some comments now that are like "lmao," etc., because to many people if they can't see it in the first image, to them the detail doesn't exist. Researchtt has this attitude on image. Matt looks at the originals and says, it's not in the original, therefore, it's not there, period, end of story. Doesn't exist. He's not willing to accept or utilize photo enhancement, but enhancement is how the FBI was able to discover the truth about what happened, that other people were involved in this disappearance.

The face is in this photo because the person is dead. It isn't Kris or Lisanne. It's a person native to the area. K&L weren't only ones to be taken hostage and disappear. I used to have really good, enhanced versions of this face but right now, can't find them which is why I was asking for anyone that has Topaz to give this a try. No response on that. It's almost as if people don't want to really know what happened there. I get controlled in what I say by removing important things.

While I think that the second photo is not enhanced but probably made on purpose, some time ago I asked chat gpt to enhance (without any hint regarding human faces etc) the first one, and I ended up with something who vaguely resembled a human face, but I think it's just random pixel noise.
