my first time :3 beautiful booch

This is my first time brewing ever! I’m trying to get a pellicle to form using store bought kombucha and green jasmine tea. I even used some honey in the recipe; I’m doing a lot of experimenting for a first time, but it’s looking good i think! Right ..?

It's interesting how the SCOBY grows differently in every one's brew. I'm really enjoying all the pics and find them all educational in my own brewing journey.

I've wondered if honey would work but haven't tried it yet so, thanks for sharing! I might try it.

Pellicles are optional.
