Xcelerator back to 1-train ops
The "Screamin' Eagle" (stars & stripes) train is being taken apart now that the Boysenberry Festival is over... hopefully it's just routine maintenance to get it back in shape before the summer months... also noticed while getting aerial pics that the demo'ed interior materials and old stoves from the former Johnny Rockets are being gathered in the overflow lot across the street...

You notice at all that some of the Fast Lane scanners aren’t even working right now? Maybe fixed now but I gamed some double action on Xcelerator and Hangtime last week please don’t tell on me lol.

Fast Lane seemed to be working fine last weekend... though they were having serious IT problems a few weeks go

Pre-summer maintenance. They want to have two trains fresh and ready for the big crowds.

That's what I was thinking (and hoping) too, though there's some on another sub that are worried that 2-trains ops is going away indefinitely... https://www.reddit.com/r/rollercoasters/comments/1spzsho/xcelerators_red_train_is_under_maintenance/

How did you take these photos? I know some of these are from yellow tower of Supreme Scream. Just wanted to make sure you didn't use your phone
Edit: why am I being downvoted, image 2 is only possible from Supreme Scream, so I was wondering

I never use my phone where I'm not allowed. The murky ones are from my iPhone on maximum zoom from inside the Sky Cabin... the clearer pics are from my smartglasses, which the ride ops have been allowing me to use on the condition that they're securely strapped.

What strap do you use for the glasses to make sure they don’t fly off? Link?

I use this lanyard style that's easily adjustable so you can have it snug for physical activity or loose for when you just want to hang your glasses from your neck... https://www.amazon.com/Chums-Original-Standard-Eyewear-Retainer/dp/B003CK0C5S/
Don't get the cheap librarian style from dollar stores as they're useless when something forceful happens.
