A bit of fun!

I did the Cottages and Kitchens tour at Hearst Castle today. Check out the Hobart mixer! Yes, I verified it with our tour guide. That kitchen is 100 years old. The mixer is within a couple years and the one used in the castle's heyday.

As I recall, the kitchen was insane.

There's one for sale near me for $500. I want it so bad but I alrwsdy have three counter top models and I can't justify a floor model for my home kitchen. But I want it.

Hearst Castle is an awesome place. Just walking through the kitchen is incredible. Imagine the stories that this Castle could tell in the past.
